GMA is changing they’re satellite na to better cater the viewers esp in provinces. this is a big threat to abs-cbn who once rigged the pacquaio-barrera fight by shutting the sky cable down. pathetic…

Maraming mandaraya sa mga Pinoy, PERIOD! What ABS-CBN did is just symptomatic of a greater societal problem that we have. What we need is a total overhaul of our value system. But reading the postings that people write here, we have a long way to go and much to learn. I am almost dissolutioned and hopeless that change will come. The whole nation will suffer and those who hold no responsibilities in both government and industries will take on a hypocritical stance blaming the rest for our countries ills, not realizing they are a big part of the problem. GISING PINOY! Our country bleeds!

ang dami talagang NOOBS.. kawawa naman libre naman ang mag aral… baka kasi may mag react na bakit di daw ipakita ang NATIONAL ratings. well ganito kasi yan 76% of the TOTAL HOUSEHOLD POPULATION is from MEGA MANILA/METRO URBAN AREAS, and lamang ang GMA dun… lalamang lang naman ang ABS sa mga areas of you know “Uncivilized” pero take note may TV huh?

asus, ng dahil lang sa ratings..panay ang patama at kung ano-ano sinasabi para lang makakuha ng attention ng tao..I still go with the best..at syempre sa mga pinaka-humble na tao. pag napansin nyo, di nagpaparinig ang mga taga dos..GMA lang ang gumagawa nyan, tumaas lang konti ang ratings, akala mo na kung sino silang makaasta..akala mo mga reyna at hari na sila…parang perfect na sila…kahit hindi naman,.hay naku,….u can never put a good people down.

hay naku magsitahimik nga kau para kaung mga walang isip dyannnn.if we talk on the quality of the the shows #1 ang ABS-CBN.they produce shows that are competitive abroad unlike the other one….and yung 76 % na nabangit dyan haler… nagbabasa ka ba…and my utak mag surf ka nga bago ka maglagay ng mga current events na mali…if we use predictions here or stat parang ang katapat ng number of viewers ng manila is the same in cebu,if not mag add ka ng isang province and its the same already…at di namn nag lalayo ang ratings nila in manila a!!! so if we add the one from provinces and otehr cities its like 70% is from ABS and 25% from GMA and 5 % from other networks…….yan opinion ko lang yana pero its nearly to the thruth or fatcs……

abscbn rules d nmn yan totoo !!wag ka ngang plastic..ncr, buong metro cebu at metro ilo ilo eh sakop na ng gma ayon yan sa agb kya sorry ka na lng cguro mindanao na lng ang hndi pa nkakapag desisyon nang totoong panonoorin kya abs pa ring ang namamayagpag dun but anyway gma is still no.1 kya abscbn pang mindanao na lng ka u hahahah!!! go mga kapuso !!!!

at may mga baner na nkasulat na kuya magpakita ka na malalaos na ta u dka pa nagppakita

ABS-CBN will always be #1! Why not show the national tv ratings?! For everyone’s info, the poorest people, the most unpriviledged and uneducated in our country are actually living in Metro Manila as more than 50% of its populace are struggling in ghastly slum areas. GMA-7 viewers a.k.a Kapuso are mostly from these areas and this explains why the comments which they posted above show their mediocrity and objectionable characters.
Hmmmm….. I have a feeling that most of you have accessed this site through internet cafes while I got my connection for free through WiFi feature of my US$ 2,000 SONY laptop. Ha-ha!

To all Kapamilya, don’t stoop down to the level of these people. The fact that they like and are able to appreciate GMA shows (YUCK!), only means that they ain’t got class- so pathetic!!! Let them be content with their very low standards. I again have a feeling that these viewers are simply symphatetic to underdogs like GMA-7. That trying-hard and wannabe network is not even worthy to be compared to ABS-CBN. The latter has depth, substance and of superior wavelength.

As the ratings season draws to a close and media buyers finalise their advertising rate negotiations, the controversy that clouded the OzTAM system appears to have all but disappeared.
The Nine Network, whose ratings suffered the most from early glitches in the system, has been notably silent since its vocal criticisms earlier this year. Nine appears comparatively content with the figures provided by OzTAM data supplier Australian Television Research since it won the contract as the official ratings provider last year. However, the network has indicated that a few niggling issues still need to be resolved.
In contrast, some media buyers that are now winding up TV advertising-rate discussions with the metropolitan networks believe the new ratings system is a more accurate measure than the data supplied by its predecessor. “I think in many ways they are a more realistic reflection of reality, rather than AC Nielsen’s data,” said one prominent buyer. AC Nielsen, which was dumped as the official TV-ratings measurer after its 10-year contract expired last year, was criticised for representing too many older people in a sample that was described as tired.
Other buyers say the ATR data supplied to OzTAM, jointly owned by the three commercial networks, has improved since its rocky debut at the start of the year……..

See such so-called “ratings” are not credible because it is prone to bias and flaws! What if nagkataon na maraming nakabit na “meter” 2 either kapamilya or kapuso localities, then it will really reflect! And it could be hardly changed until magtapos n ang contract with such households…So kung cno ang namamayagpag ngayon s ratings is not really a clear and convincing evidence that it really leads! Sa tao pa rin cguro yan… kung saan maraming napapauso malamang yan ang no.1 di ba BIG BROTHER??? Sana di ako maevict this saturday night!!!hehehe…

you have no right to post on public bogs and fora if you’re not sure of your facts. better learn from kapamilyas bec we are obviusly well-read and smart. saan mo nakuha na 76% ng population ay nakatira sa mega manila ANG BOBO MO at pinangalandakan mo pa kabobohan mo by posting your faulty fact haha magbasa ka at wag ka kasing umasa sa GMA para ma-educate ka coz there are many half-truths and sheer lies that are being peddled on GMA kaya magbasa ka para madagdagan kaalaman mo at padagdagan mo ang groceries na binibigay sa yo ng GMA para may nutrients namang pumasok sa utak mo.
