Anti-Red Tape bill, signed by GMA
Posted by: iostream @ 1:32 am in: News & Current Events (1,498 views) June 18th, 2007Republic Act No. 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, a law that prevents graft and corruption and impose penalties on violators has already been signed by President Arroyo.
This bill supports simplified measures that will speed up the transactions within all government agencies in the Philippines. With this, government agencies shall be able to render fast, efficient and reliable services to the public.
We just all hope that this law can now promote transparency on each agency when transacting with the public.
