Francis Magalona diagnosed with leukemia

In a statement released by Day Cabuhat, Pupil band manager and Francis’s good friend, he said that blood Type O and platelets will be accepted. “Donations may be made at the lower ground level of The Medical City in the name of Francis Magalona,” he also added.
Medical City is located along Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City.

My son was diagnosed with LEUKEMIA (ALL Type)last December 2006. To Francis, Pia and their children, be brave and hold on to GOD. Always pray to GOD, ask help, guidance and pray.Eternal Father, please heal Francis Magalona OLord. Have mercy on him.
PRAYERS are the most powerful.
Avoid all foods with preservatives. Eat plenty of green vegetables especially malunggay. Always drink fresh fruits… avocado, mango. Avoid acidic juice like pineapple.
REST. You need complete REST.
Avoid sleeping late. Sleep early.
Avoid meat, beef, milk, chocolates, sweets.
Eat more fish, sometimes chicken.
I would like to ask everyone to offer PRAYERS for Francis Magalona.
Eternal Father, please heal Francis Magalona O Lord. Have Mercy on Him.

It’s Sunday afternoon back here in the US. It’s dreary and
cloudy in my neck of the woods. I was googling former Philippine celebrities wanting to know where they are now and what they are up to when I happen to come upon this. I am proud to be a Filipino. I tell my American friends that Filipinos are generally caring and thoughtful people.
I grew up around them. But, I guess I thought wrong! I could not believe my eyes reading such insensitive comments! I do not know who Francis Magalona is/was, but he is a human being worthy of respect regardless. I still believe Filipino people are the best there is with the exception of a handful! I remain Filipino in heart!
