Francis Magalona issues official statement
Posted by: iostream @ 4:10 pm in: Celebrities (1,261 views) August 14th, 2008Here is the official statement of Francis Magalona that was issued today via text message to his Eat Bulaga! family confirming the news that he was diagnosed with leukemia.
“Sa lahat ng mga dabarkads ko dito sa Eat Bulaga! miss ko na kayong lahat. Araw-araw magkakasama tayo at kayo’y naging second family ko na. Pati na rin lahat ng mga viewers sa mga bahay at sa studio.
Ngayon meron akong isang pagsubok na dapat daanan at ang hiling ko lang ay ang inyong pang-unawa at suporta. I have been diagnosed with leukemia and I am preparing for my treatment.
Sa tulong ng Panginoon kakayanin ko po ito. Abangan ninyo ang aking pagbabalik. Di ko lang kayo miss, love ko kayong lahat.”
Francis’s message was read in full today by Eat Bulaga! host Vic Sotto with Joey de Leon at his side.

To Francis, Pia and their children,
Be BRAVE. Hold on to GOD.
ALWAYS PRAY to GOD, ASK HELP AND GUIDANCE FROM GOD.
PRAYERS ARE THE MOST POWERFUL. When our son was diagnosed with LEUKEMIA last December 2006, he was only 11 years old. Everybody prayed for him, our relatives, friends and even People we do not know.
We will pray for you “FRANCIS”. You will be healed in JESUS name….

Kapamilya ako pero pagdating sa sakit ng tao hindi puedeng pagtawanan ito o di kaya kutyain. Kaka dismaya naman ugali ng ibang kapamilya. Saka wag’ ngang maging tanga ang iba dyan.
