toni: kahit walang nomination ang GMA sa emmy mayron naman silang Peabody Awards na mas prestisyoso kaysa sa Emmy. Gold medalist lang naman ang GMA ang ABS nominee pa lang di pa natin alam kung mananalo.

GMA has proven its prowess in news and current affairs. Kahit nuon pa… Mapa-Probe nuon, Brigada 7, etc. Ngayon mas malakas pa at di kailangan mag-import. Saddened lang ako without Debate and reformatting ng Mel and Joey… Naalala ko nuong Mel and Jay pa, pati politics covered ng discussion. Deep. Ngayon mala-Barbara Walters na ng The View si Mel… I guess, change is inevitable talaga.
Anyway, KUDOS GMA!

ARRRUUUUUUU…….., alam mo kasi, sometimes, you need to think out of the box. Pero di naman kita masisisi kung hanggang dyan lang talaga ang kaya ng utak mo. Sa totoo lang, wala kang makikitang taong isang channel lang ang pinapanood (unless isa lang ang chanel sa tv nila,) sa tv. Yung nagsasabi at magsasabi dyang isa ka dun, lokohin mo lelang mo.

an observation…
GMA’s show targets the Filipino masses which is a good strategy for them to gain good feedback from these people. Most (approximately 95%) of their shows (entertainment, news and public affairs programs) appeal to the common people. Meanwhile, most of their shows lack classiness that’s why many people commented the shows as cheap and of low class. Might as well, GMA does not appeal to people with higher social orientation and status.
On the other hand, ABS-CBN got the class and sophistication in most of its shows that more elite, choosy, intelligent people adores (Just exclude Wowowee on the list. Duh! HEHEHEHEH!)… Of course, artists/ talents of the network have classy images. However, many of the common Filipino people are not attracted by many of its showing such as shows that applies only to those who have high economical status (e.g. Urban Zone, Boy and Kris, Sports Unlimited and others)…
Personally, there are more of ABS-CBN that I like… (EHEM)
I prefer of course to watch Boy and Kris over the dreaded SIS (Just look at the hosts… DUH!!!)
Of course, I would rather watch the DYOSA (which never really flown up the ratings) than the soon-to-end CODENAME: ASERO (YES! it’s ending already in a couple of weeks)…
I do watch SHARON over MEL & JOEY (explanatory HEHEHE)…
SINGING BEE over K (Bakit kasi nandun si JAYA!!!!) Deal or No Deal over Family Feud (Kris’s show still rules in suspense)…
I choose SURVIVOR over PBB (Baduy na kasi si KUYA! Hehehehe!!!)…
I also watched MULAWIN and DARNA (although Angel was not yet good in acting then..) SIDEWAYS: Angel did became a better actress when she left GMA for ABS…
BANDILA over SAKSI…
OF COURSE STARSTRUCK 1 over SCQ 1 (But not the succeeding editions)
I’m just having a hard time switching channels when it’s Sunday afternoon. I like SOP and ASAP both… But more artists are better in ASAP…
That would be all for now..
Anyways, ever heard of the 20 Most Brightest Stars survey???
Only Marian Rivera and Katrina make it from GMA…
The other 18 came from ABS with Sarah Geronimo topping the chart in female…
John Lloyd Cruz topped the Male chart…
BUT, JUST HEARD OF THIS… NO CONFIRMATION…
Hmmmmmmmmm… Maybe there should an official Chart for this….
AFTER ALL OF THIS, still the trend remains…
GMA’s got Metro Manila and starting conquering the whole nation…
while ABS-CBN still is the number 1 nationwide and for all Filipinos worldwide…
BUT GMA has already been starting to follow…
GOOD LUCK TO BOTH GIANT NETWORKS…
