My Damn Channel, the latest attempt of Hollywood professionals to cash in on the huge popularity of online video launches its debut on the Web Tuesday.

The site is the brainchild of former MTV and CBS Radio executive Rob Barnett, who believes that Internet audiences want to see professionally produced shows other than network TV fare. Comedian Harry Shearer, Music Producer Don Was, Filmmaker David Wain and Web Phenom Andy Milonakis are among the first professionals to launch original episodic videos with My Damn Channel.

My Damn Channel will syndicate its videos on other Internet sites and will be ad-supported. YouTube, the leader in online video owned by Google Inc., is the first to sign a syndication agreement with My Damn Channel.
