I’ve been reading different comments about Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera and a lot more about the transfer of GMA artists to ABS and vice versa. Here are the things that I have noted and the way I see it:
(1) People keep saying that if an artist transferred from ABS to GMA nagiging sikat. And the reason they are saying is because hindi sila kaya pasikatin ng ABS at ang GMA ang may capacity na pasikatin sila. Well, let me say my piece. The reason kung bakit sumisikat ang mga artista na lumilipat sa GMA is not because ABS is not capable and GMA is the one who has the ability to make them sikat. The only reason behind is simply because ang dami ng magagaling na artista sa ABS and those people na lumipat sa GMA are those artista na ndi kayang makipagsabayan sa talagang mahuhusay ng artista ng ABS. Second, it’s not because din magaling ang GMA magpasikat ng artista but simply because wala nman maciadong artista sa GMA so and mejo sikat or not sikat at all na artista ng ABS, paglipat sa GMA, sumisikat…kze wala nmang sila maciadong ka kompetensya
(2) People are saying na ang mga sikat na artista ng ABS are galing lahat sa GMA and they are giving the credit to GMA network. Here’s my piece..I do acknowledge that those artists na galing ng GMA has the talents kaya lang since GMA can’t make their career bloom…mas magaling talaga magpasikat ang ABS ng mga artistang may talents…Anne Curtis, Toni Gonzaga and Marielle are all from GMA but I think sa ABS sila na develop to be good in their own forte.
(3) People are saying na pina pirate ng ABS ang mga sikat na artista ng GMA which I think is not really the case…Angel Locsin transferred to ABS and acknowledged the fact na sila ng manager nia ang lumapit sa ABS. Well, dun sa mga nagsasabing lumipat cia because of the TF..I would think that is really one of the reasons among the so many reasons she has…and I believe her when she said na one of her reasons is gus2 nia ma acknowledge ung pagiging artista nia by at least getting an acting award…She’s been with GMA for quite long pero ndi un nabigay ng GMA sa kanya…dami niang projects and movies na blockbuster but nothing brought her any award…
(4) People are saying that Angel Locsin is Laos na dahil wala na ciang soap sa ABS while Marian is so sikat dahil ndi cia nawawalan ng soap sa GMA…the fact na walang soap si angel ngayon sa ABS will not support the conclusion na laos na cia….dahil if you are watching ABS, papalit palit talaga sila ng artista para ndi nasasawa ang tao…and another thing sa dami ng magagaling na artista sa ABS pag binigyan nila un lahat ng soap ng sabay sabay then baka maghapon magdamag puro teleserye na lang ang palabas ng ABS. On the other hand, I agree na sikat si Marian…but I also believe na sikat cia dahil cia lang nman ang may maraming exposure from GMA. So if you are a fan of GMA since ang mga Filipino nman is maka network and ndi artista, then you will of course watch Marian dahil wala nman ng iba…and I don’t think comparing the number of soap of Angel and Marian will measure their kasikatan….dahil si Marian ndi talaga mwawalan ng soap sa GMA dahil konti lang sila don…GMA can’t take the risk of getting Marian out of the bright light…sino nman ipapalit nila db? No option nman din sila….and as I have noticed, GMA is not willing to take the risk na pagpalit palitin ang partners nila…kung alin ung kumita…sila na lang ng sila…I watched both Angel and Marian movies…in terms of acting, I think mas mgaling lang ng konti si Angal kai Marian…that is nung asa GMA pa si Angel…but when she transferred to ABS…I don’t think Marian is still comparable to Angel when it comes to acting…sobrang na develop si Angel sa ABS….she has more to offer….
(5) And finally…we are free to write our comments here so don’t take these things against me….

ANG TUNAY NA DAHILAN KUNG BAKIT HINDI TINANGGAP NI EUGENE DOMINGO ANG LA LOLA
Na-heard namin that Eugene Domingo did not accept the supporting role na inoffer sa kanya sa upcoming GMA soap na La Lola dahil mag-coconcentrate daw muna siya sa movies.
Dami ngang ginagawa at gagawin ni Uge, including ang “Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat”, at ang “Demetria” Busing-busy nga ang lola kaya di na magawa ang La Lola na pagbibidahan ni Rhian Ramos.
Pero ano ba tong mas malakas na bulong sa amin na ang true reason daw why di tinanggap ni Uge ang show ay dahil hindi siya naging happy sa kanyang GMA experience? Ever since naman ay very open si Uge sa pagsasabing gusto niyang sina-satisfy ang kanyang artistic hunger kaya choosy siya sa projects niya. Top to that, flop pa ang I.T.A.L.Y.!
Pero di ba, siya na rin naman ang nagsabi minsan na kaya rin siya nag-GMA ay dahil she has bills to pay? O.
Ang tanong ngayon, kung babalik ba siya sa ABS-CBN e welcome pa ba siya?

I’ve been reading different comments about Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera and a lot more about the transfer of GMA artists to ABS and vice versa. Here are the things that I have noted and the way I see it:
(1) People keep saying that if an artist transferred from ABS to GMA nagiging sikat. And the reason they are saying is because hindi sila kaya pasikatin ng ABS at ang GMA ang may capacity na pasikatin sila. Well, let me say my piece. The reason kung bakit sumisikat ang mga artista na lumilipat sa GMA is not because ABS is not capable and GMA is the one who has the ability to make them sikat. The only reason behind is simply because ang dami ng magagaling na artista sa ABS and those people na lumipat sa GMA are those artista na ndi kayang makipagsabayan sa talagang mahuhusay ng artista ng ABS. Second, it’s not because din magaling ang GMA magpasikat ng artista but simply because wala nman maciadong artista sa GMA so and mejo sikat or not sikat at all na artista ng ABS, paglipat sa GMA, sumisikat…kze wala nmang sila maciadong ka kompetensya
(2) People are saying na ang mga sikat na artista ng ABS are galing lahat sa GMA and they are giving the credit to GMA network. Here’s my piece..I do acknowledge that those artists na galing ng GMA has the talents kaya lang since GMA can’t make their career bloom…mas magaling talaga magpasikat ang ABS ng mga artistang may talents…Anne Curtis, Toni Gonzaga and Marielle are all from GMA but I think sa ABS sila na develop to be good in their own forte.
(3) People are saying na pina pirate ng ABS ang mga sikat na artista ng GMA which I think is not really the case…Angel Locsin transferred to ABS and acknowledged the fact na sila ng manager nia ang lumapit sa ABS. Well, dun sa mga nagsasabing lumipat cia because of the TF..I would think that is really one of the reasons among the so many reasons she has…and I believe her when she said na one of her reasons is gus2 nia ma acknowledge ung pagiging artista nia by at least getting an acting award…She’s been with GMA for quite long pero ndi un nabigay ng GMA sa kanya…dami niang projects and movies na blockbuster but nothing brought her any award…
(4) People are saying that Angel Locsin is Laos na dahil wala na ciang soap sa ABS while Marian is so sikat dahil ndi cia nawawalan ng soap sa GMA…the fact na walang soap si angel ngayon sa ABS will not support the conclusion na laos na cia….dahil if you are watching ABS, papalit palit talaga sila ng artista para ndi nasasawa ang tao…and another thing sa dami ng magagaling na artista sa ABS pag binigyan nila un lahat ng soap ng sabay sabay then baka maghapon magdamag puro teleserye na lang ang palabas ng ABS. On the other hand, I agree na sikat si Marian…but I also believe na sikat cia dahil cia lang nman ang may maraming exposure from GMA. So if you are a fan of GMA since ang mga Filipino nman is maka network and ndi artista, then you will of course watch Marian dahil wala nman ng iba…and I don’t think comparing the number of soap of Angel and Marian will measure their kasikatan….dahil si Marian ndi talaga mwawalan ng soap sa GMA dahil konti lang sila don…GMA can’t take the risk of getting Marian out of the bright light…sino nman ipapalit nila db? No option nman din sila….and as I have noticed, GMA is not willing to take the risk na pagpalit palitin ang partners nila…kung alin ung kumita…sila na lang ng sila…I watched both Angel and Marian movies…in terms of acting, I think mas mgaling lang ng konti si Angal kai Marian…that is nung asa GMA pa si Angel…but when she transferred to ABS…I don’t think Marian is still comparable to Angel when it comes to acting…sobrang na develop si Angel sa ABS….she has more to offer….
(5) And finally…we are free to write our comments here so don’t take these things against me….

Total Panel homes ng AGB Neilsen sa Pilipinas ay 1,600 ang 600 ay nasa Mega MAnila at ang 1,000 naman ay nasa mga provinces ng Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao…so kiniclaim ng GME7 no.1 sila sa Pilipinas..mga utak talangka!! Ang ratings ng Mega MAnila ay ginawa para sa mga Advertisers at hindi para sabihin at magbasis sa pagiging no.1 TV network sa Pilipinas..lolz!!!

At ayon sa Philippine Stocks Exchange di pa rin nalalamangan ng GME7 ang Ads Revenue ng ABS-CBN. As of January-June 2008 ang ads revenue ng ABS-CBN ay 6.339 Billion at sa GME7 naman ay 5.518 Billion. Kung gusto nyong malaman punta kayo sa site ng PSE and then click Listed Companies don makikita ninyo ang katotohanan…

Overloading na nga ng Ads ang GME7 di parin maka ungos kasi nga mura ang airtime rate nila kumpara sa ABS-CBN na mahal ang kanilang airtime rate..pero tingnan nyo naman marami parin ang nagtitiwala sa kanilang mga advertisers.
Halos lahat ng mga product endorsers ay KApamilya…kaya no wonder!

These ratings are Mega Manila only. It only composes of 20% of total ratings nationwide. Mega Manila ratings are released twice a week while Nationwide ratings are done monthly.
ABS-CBN STILL LEADS NATIONWIDE
ABS-CBN no longer subscribes with AGB’s ratings. Ratings only favor on those who payed for it. Kaya huwag na magalit and continue to support ABS-CBN. I’m only posting this just for FYI only.
In these ratings released by AGB for GMA Network, it seems ABS-CBN shows are gaining again in strength. I Love Betty La Fea, Dyosa, and Iisa Pa Lamang are above 25% rating. GMA’s Survivor Philippines fell to No.8 from its usual ranking of No. 4. Kahit Isang Saglit is also gaining and holds its position on No. 10.

I’ve been reading different comments about Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera and a lot more about the transfer of GMA artists to ABS and vice versa. Here are the things that I have noted and the way I see it:
(1) People keep saying that if an artist transferred from ABS to GMA nagiging sikat. And the reason they are saying is because hindi sila kaya pasikatin ng ABS at ang GMA ang may capacity na pasikatin sila. Well, let me say my piece. The reason kung bakit sumisikat ang mga artista na lumilipat sa GMA is not because ABS is not capable and GMA is the one who has the ability to make them sikat. The only reason behind is simply because ang dami ng magagaling na artista sa ABS and those people na lumipat sa GMA are those artista na ndi kayang makipagsabayan sa talagang mahuhusay ng artista ng ABS. Second, it’s not because din magaling ang GMA magpasikat ng artista but simply because wala nman maciadong artista sa GMA so and mejo sikat or not sikat at all na artista ng ABS, paglipat sa GMA, sumisikat…kze wala nmang sila maciadong ka kompetensya
(2) People are saying na ang mga sikat na artista ng ABS are galing lahat sa GMA and they are giving the credit to GMA network. Here’s my piece..I do acknowledge that those artists na galing ng GMA has the talents kaya lang since GMA can’t make their career bloom…mas magaling talaga magpasikat ang ABS ng mga artistang may talents…Anne Curtis, Toni Gonzaga and Marielle are all from GMA but I think sa ABS sila na develop to be good in their own forte.
(3) People are saying na pina pirate ng ABS ang mga sikat na artista ng GMA which I think is not really the case…Angel Locsin transferred to ABS and acknowledged the fact na sila ng manager nia ang lumapit sa ABS. Well, dun sa mga nagsasabing lumipat cia because of the TF..I would think that is really one of the reasons among the so many reasons she has…and I believe her when she said na one of her reasons is gus2 nia ma acknowledge ung pagiging artista nia by at least getting an acting award…She’s been with GMA for quite long pero ndi un nabigay ng GMA sa kanya…dami niang projects and movies na blockbuster but nothing brought her any award…
(4) People are saying that Angel Locsin is Laos na dahil wala na ciang soap sa ABS while Marian is so sikat dahil ndi cia nawawalan ng soap sa GMA…the fact na walang soap si angel ngayon sa ABS will not support the conclusion na laos na cia….dahil if you are watching ABS, papalit palit talaga sila ng artista para ndi nasasawa ang tao…and another thing sa dami ng magagaling na artista sa ABS pag binigyan nila un lahat ng soap ng sabay sabay then baka maghapon magdamag puro teleserye na lang ang palabas ng ABS. On the other hand, I agree na sikat si Marian…but I also believe na sikat cia dahil cia lang nman ang may maraming exposure from GMA. So if you are a fan of GMA since ang mga Filipino nman is maka network and ndi artista, then you will of course watch Marian dahil wala nman ng iba…and I don’t think comparing the number of soap of Angel and Marian will measure their kasikatan….dahil si Marian ndi talaga mwawalan ng soap sa GMA dahil konti lang sila don…GMA can’t take the risk of getting Marian out of the bright light…sino nman ipapalit nila db? No option nman din sila….and as I have noticed, GMA is not willing to take the risk na pagpalit palitin ang partners nila…kung alin ung kumita…sila na lang ng sila…I watched both Angel and Marian movies…in terms of acting, I think mas mgaling lang ng konti si Angal kai Marian…that is nung asa GMA pa si Angel…but when she transferred to ABS…I don’t think Marian is still comparable to Angel when it comes to acting…sobrang na develop si Angel sa ABS….she has more to offer….
(5) And finally…we are free to write our comments here so don’t take these things against me….

di na gagawa ng station ID ang GME-7 nyan…deretso na Christmas Station ID sila….gagastos na naman sila eh….kaya pag-iisahin nalang sila ang 3rd Quarter Station ID nila at ang Christmas station ID. Uu nga naman, malaki rin ang matitipid nila nyan…at ang matitipid nila….pambili ng sardinas! Hahahaha! Mahal na rin sardinas ngaun ha….lalo pa’t may halong dyisibilbil un dahil tsutsugiin na raw..Awwww!

A CONSUMERS group on Saturday warned of a possible bankruptcy of the Lopez Group of Companies due to more than P120 billion in debts, which will mature this November.
The National Association of Electricity Consumers for Reforms (Nasecore) aired the warning amid continuing fears of a global meltdown due to the US financial crisis.

“The self-proclaimed corporate geniuses of the Lopezes must be wracking their brains now on how to fend off their creditors,” said Nasecore president Pete Ilagan.
Ilagan said that with interest rates at their highest due to lingering fears of a US economic meltdown, the creditors of the Lopezes would surely have depressed appetites for the re-structuring of the loans.
“Do not look now but the Lopez companies may turn turtle, even without considering their possible investment exposures in such US companies like Lehman Brothers and AIG,” he added.
Ilagan stressed that Nasecore’s concern on the Lopez Group of Companies under its umbrella organization First Philippine Holdings (FPH) has to do with the possibility of the assets of Lopez-controlled power utility firm Manila Electric Company (Meralco) being misappropriated.
“Meralco consumers will ever be watchful lest some people may do a Harry Houdini – or a disappearing act – with Meralco funds, despite the Lopezes having only a minority stake in Meralco,” Ilagan said.
Based on the Lopez group’s total exposure as of September 22, 2008, analysts say that the P6.2 billion proceeds of FPH’s sale to Metro Pacific of its 51 percent stake in the toll road company FPIDC would hardly “scratch its huge debts.”
The Lopezes sold to Metro Pacific their stake in FPIDC despite better offers from San Miguel Corporation (SMC) and Filinvest Dev’t, leading observers to conclude that Metro Pacific had pledged to immediately pay FPH.
“The Lopezes are in a deep hole from where they may not be able to dig themselves out. Debt rollover may not be palatable to their creditors, considering the current sour state of investment affairs, and the Lopezes’ bad track record,” the Nasecore president said.
Ilagan also cited published reports of FPH’s finance cost doubling to P2.5 billion from P1.28 billion “due to the increase in its debt level,” and FPH’s booking of foreign exchange losses of P3.5 billion in the first quarter of the year.
“Only they exactly know how many billions they owe and how many billions are falling due. But our computations would put its maturing debts next month to at least P120 billion,” he said.
vA unit of FPH, First Gen, will have some US$800 million of short-term debt due between now and May 2009. Even if the company is able to raise $700 million from its Sta. Rita plant, the $300 million expected to flow to First Gen will not be enough to cover $400 million in loans maturing this November.
According to Ilagan, the Lopezes may very well use their stake in Meralco so they can meet maturing loans.
He, however, said this would be very unlikely because Meralco serves as the “milking cow” of other Lopez companies.
“The companies wholly owned by the Lopezes have no clients other than Meralco, to which they sell transformers, cables, poles, services, etc. So these Lopez companies are, in fact, like leeches, feeding off the lifeblood of Meralco,” he said. (AH/Sunnex)

Meralco’s P3-M donation passed on to consumers
IS Meralco’s reported P3-million donation to the UP College of Engineering connected in any way to its awarding Meralco president Jesus Francisco as its “Most Outstanding Alumnus” for 2008?
Meralco customers, according to a consumer advocacy group, would want to know the answer to this and to many other questionable donations being made by Meralco on the pretext of “corporate social responsibility.”
Pete Ilagan, president of the National Association of Electricity Consumers for Reforms (Nasecore), said the Lopezes who control Meralco cannot take liberty with the assets of the company by donating them away.
Ilagan said that while the intention may be noble, the Lopezes must take from their own pockets any donations they like to make, instead of taking them from Meralco.
“Meralco’s donations are shouldered by Meralco customers. This is yet another form of system loss for consumers just so the Lopez family can stake a claim to being philanthropists,” said Ilagan.
“There’s nothing wrong with philanthropy, but it should not be at the expense of poor Meralco customers,” said Ilagan.
Nasecore had complained to the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) about the matter in a letter dated Sept. 30, addressed to ERC chair Zenaida Cruz-Ducut.
Ilagan said Nasecore has interest in the donations because they may be part of the P899 million which is the subject of a syndicated estafa case Nasecore filed against Meralco.
Aside from the reported P3 million donation to the UP College of Engineering, Nasecore also asked ERC to look into Meralco’s land donation to Ateneo in 2005 for the construction of the Ateneo School of Medicine.
The donated land was reportedly inside the Meralco compound in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City, adjacent to the Medical City Hospital.
Nasecore also questioned Meralco’s donation of seven so-called Sibol Schools through Gawad Kalinga as reported on page 30 of its 2007 Annual Report, but which did not mention the amount of donation involved.
