Obviously, money talks… Liezel might have really shown less improvement these days but she is waaaay better than Miguel. I’m even wondering why Miguel is not the 6th placer, since Cris and Van really did out perform him.

why Miguel won? well, money changes everything… di nya kasi matatanggap na matatalo sya sa PDA gaya ng nangyari sa First Pinoy Idol kung saan kulelat sya.. but he was Ryan Cayabyab’s favorite in Pinoy Idol, kaya nga nag-create ng special voice lesson for him… So when they met again in PDA, SIGURO, tinulungan yan ni Master C not only for the voice coaching but also support miguel’s family in TEXT VOTE BUYING…

Didn’t they have a voting system in Philippine Idol? If Miguel’s financial status is the SOLE issue for his placing third this time around, then why didn’t he place better in Philippine Idol? Some of you just need to unclench. I have to agree with ‘georgina’, if some of you preferred another scholar to place better then you should’ve voted more.
Regardless of where any of the other five scholars placed, they are all talented in their own respective ways. and as they stated in the very beginning of the show, a scholar’s financial status doesn’t and shouldn’t define whether they are deserving or not for ANY title. You can’t please everyone.
Congrats to all PDA scholars for an amazing season!

Kahit damihan ng Liezel supporters ang boto nila, e kung kada 1 myembro ng pamilya ni Miguel e libo-libo ang inuubos para bumoto sa kanya lalamang pa rin si Miguel.
Oo nga may talent sya, pero it’s nothing compared to Liezel’s voice.
Miguel, alam mo at alam naming lahat na sa text votes ka lang nanalo pero sa mata ng maraming tao (yung totoong tao, hindi lang myembro ng pamilya mo at mga kaibigan ng pamilya mong mayayaman) na si Liezel ang karapat-dapat sa pwesto mo

We are disappointed sa resulta. Sana si Liezl o Bugoy ang nanalo.Nasama pa si Miguel sa top 3.Hindi ba karapatdapat si Liezl dahil nag 5x star scholar siya at si bugoy 3x habang si laarni ay once lang naging star scholar at natalo pa siya sa kanyang grand performance nung sabado.Si Miguel nasa top 3 dahil todo text ang mayaman niyang kapamilya. Whew!!!Sana mayaman ako at maraming load nanalo sana si Liezl o Bugoy

miguel, it’s not your fault. it just so happen that your family is RICH enough to buy your spot (legally, thru text votes). Ganun talaga, PDA decided to use voting as a way of declaring a winner. Kaya iyan.
Liezel obviously deserves it more than Miguel (and it doesn’t take a genius to identify who’s got the better talent). ABS-CBN probably feels so sorry for her. Wala na rin siguro silang magawa because mayaman nga si Miguel. AND I don’t believe na maraming fans ang bumoto sa kanya. Matalino na ang mga Pinoy pumili, kaya nga Laarni and Bugoy went to the top spots. And obviously, why MANY reacted disappointingly to the top 3 & 4 results. Again, it doesn’t take a genius to analyze it.
Bottomline is, Miguel may have gotten the third spot but he will forever carry the guilt of the fact that he got it because of his wealth, and NOT because of the real supporters and his talent.

oo nga, money talks talaga..liezel shud b in the top 3..bugoy deserves 2b d grand winner, c laarni although magaling dincya, but she has attitude probs.,sa audition palang kita2x kita na yun..but hopefully, she will change for d better now dat shes the big winner.. wel, ganun talaga ang buhay.. lets just wait and see wat wil happen in the next 2 years kung sino mas sisikat sa kanila.. for me YENG is still d best PDA skolar so far..very dserving to win.. ang mga skoalrs dis season ang layo nila k yeng, versatile artist- singer, composer, magaling pa sa musical instruments.. tsk2x..tsaka mas madaming magaling last season talaga..sana next season, papasukin naman yung mga deserving tlaga maging skolar…

miguel should be in the 6th place position, he dont have star quality factor. Mukha pa syang bading, Eh cun mag papatronized sa kanya? basta di na ako manonood ng PDA kahit kelan kasi tapos na, next season na alang ulet.

Mali kayo lahat! Hindi mayaman sila Miguel, MAYAMANG-MAYAMAN sila! eh ano ngayon, inggit kayo?!
Kung ginusto ng pamilya ni Miguel na sya ang mag Grand Star Dreamer, hindi problema yun! Laarni only won with 651,696 votes that is only Php1, 629, 240. Ano ba naman kayo, barya lang yun sa kanila! Miguel drives a 4×4 to school everyday at may iba pa syang 4×4 dinadrive pag color coding, eh yun pa lang is already more than 1.7M. What are vehicles compared to his possible career kung sya ang nag champion?
Walang kasalanan si Miguel kung prim and proper ang fans nya at alam nila hindi tilian ang magpapanalo kay Miguel. I’m sure his family and friends voted for him but I doubt it they needed to buy votes. I’ll give you the math so you will see a clearer picture.
30 votes/day * 14 days (voting period) = 420 votes/sim (maximum votes per sim)
253,412 votes (total votes of Miguel) divided by 420 votes/sim = 603.36 sim cards
420 votes * Php 2.50 = Php 1020.00
That is only 603 people willing to spend Php 1,020.00 for a friend or a family member. I’m sure his family has more than 600 friends and hindi sila manghihinayang bumoto ng sagaran kasi nga mayayaman sila! I think nga naging conservative pa pamilya ni Miguel sa pag boto sa kanya. Wag kayo putak ng putak, lahat naman ng boto binibili! Kung meron sa mga scholars ang nakakuha ng boto na libre, yun ang madaya!
Tatlo kada cinco ang magaling kumanta sa Philippines. PDA is not just a singing contest, it has always been a talent search. Hindi ba kaya nanalo si Yeng dahil sya nagsulat ng hawak kamay? I admit Lizel, Bugoy and Laarni have better voice quality (Van and Cris are artistahin but they are not better than him) but that is all there is to them? Kaya ba nila mag compose ng kanta? Kaya ba nila magplay ng musical instruments? Can they even sing a song without diction problems? (van even has diction problems kahit tagalog na ang kanta!) Not to mention, do they have the looks that will sustain their career?
I think Miguel deserved the 3rd spot. I wouldn’t mind if he won the top spot. Although not the best singer, he is the most talented amongst them. Give it time guys, buti nalang anonymous itong forum kasi feeling ko later on baka mga nagpapa-autograph na kayo sa kanya. Wait until Miguel finishes college and his family gives him the freedom to pursue his dream. He will be the next Ogie Alcasid. You all wait and see!
Oh and lastly, don’t tell me walang nagsponsor kay Laarni at Bugoy. Haller, how do you think Laarni’s fans can organize and afford all the yellow uniform that they wear each time? Even her parents were probably provided with the shirts. Why does she keep thanking the Benitez (owners of PWU) family? Paano naman biglang bumulusok ang votes ni Bugoy to sustain his spot? Magpakatotoo nga tayong lahat! None of the 3 winners got pure fan votes, Lahat yan may mga kanya-kanyang gimmik.
