The eight-lane Interstate 35W bridge which stretches between Minneapolis and St. Paul collapsed into the Mississippi River during evening rush hour Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007.

At least 7 people were killed and more than least 60 people were injured. Vehicles are scattered along the broken remains of the Interstate 35W bridge while other cars are thrown into the river.
