JOJO ACUIN’S PREDICTIONs FOR 2009
Vilma Santos: Mananatiling Star for all seasons at magiging matagumpay sa pulitika.
SHOW BUSINESS:

Such an award-winning, versatile and excellent actor that Piolo Pascual is, he is definitely to stay longer in showbiz
He is basically the only one next in line to take the place of the high-calibre actors Christopher de Leon, Albert Martinez, Cesar Montano, Ricky Davao, Eddie Garcia and Gabby Concepcion.
Sa third line, it would be Derek R., Coco M., Jason A., Baron G., Paolo C., Dennis T., Jiro M. at Richard Gut.
Long shots will be Rafael R., Gerald A., Jake C., JC dV., Aljur A. to name a few.

January 22nd, 2009 at 2:55 am
Sana nga, maging blockbuster ang “Land Over There” (Bola Me Again?)
Eh, ‘di para makapag-tour at the same time!
Isang reliable produ*cer ang naghintay ng 9:00 p.m. to call us.
“Ikaw talaga witchy-witchy ka! Bakit alam mong hindi kikita ‘yung movie?”
aniya habang kausap namin sa phone.
Eh naka-loudspea*ker ang tumawag. Nu’ng tanungin namin magkano ang malungkot na gross (kasi sarado na ang sinehan at nag-last scree*ning na kaya kuwentadas na ang kinita nito sa first day), tumanggi siyang magbigay ng figures kasi may mga reporters na pala siyang kaharap at takot siyang ma-quote kaya dine*nay niya (as usual!) na may sinabi siya sa amin na mahina ang kita ng movie sa first day nito!
Well, kelan naman kami nagkamali sa aming analy*sis?
Well, sana hindi mapalitan ang title ng mo*vie ng “Hate me Again!”, huh!
January 22nd, 2009 at 2:55 am
‘Pinakaaabangan’, inabuso!
THE most abused word this year is: “PINAKAAABANGAN”.
Ewan ko, hindi ko ina*bangan ‘yan!
TV blurb “Ang tambalang PINAKAAABA*NGAN – Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin in “Land Down There”.
Tama sila. It landed down there!
Ana at San Lazaro, aber?
January 22nd, 2009 at 2:56 am
January 22nd, 2009 at 2:57 am
ANGEL, LUIS RECONCILE
Tanungin nyo ang bookers about the real box office take ng pelikula and they’ll tell you that the viewers didn’t love it again. Ang laki pa naman ng cost of production with location shoots in Bukidnon and Australia.”

January 22nd, 2009 at 12:04 pm
“Tayong Dalawa” got an impressive 39% national rating and 35% Metro rating on opening broadcast last Monday, Jan.19, as against “Gagambino” which only did a measly 21% national rating. “I Love Betty La Fea” which started broadcasting after the early evening news did 36% as against “Luna Mystika” at 26.2% Continuing the 30% advantage of major shows as against GMA shows, this gave ABS-CBN a ratings of 16.9% or total national audience share of 48% as against GMA’s ratings 12.6% and a 36% share.
TNS national ratings for Jan 19, Monday, were as follows: “Boy and Kris,” 8.4% vs. “Sis,” 5.8%; “Game KNB?,” 14.6% vs. “Rosalinda,” 9.9%; “Wowowee,” 21.4% vs.”Eat Bulaga,” 15.5%; “Parekoy,” 16.7% vs. “Daisy Siete,” 14.4%; “Pieta,” 17.1% vs. “Saan Darating Ang Umaga,” 12.8%, “La Traicion,” 13.7%; “Zoid Genesis,” 9.3% vs. “Be Strong Geum Soon,” 8.5%; “Mr. Bean Live,” 10.3% vs. “Wanted Perfect Family,” 8.4%; Mischievous Princess,” 12.4% vs. “Love at the Corner,” 10.5%; “Deal or No Deal,” 20.6% vs. Family Feud,” 17.9%; “TV Patrol,” 31% vs. “24 Oras,” 24.8%; “I Love Betty La Fea,” 36% vs. “Luna Mystika,” 26.2%; “Tayong Dalawa,” 39% vs. “Gagambino,” 21%; “Eva Fonda,” 25.9% vs. “LaLola,” 20.1%; “Pinoy Fear Factor,” 16.2% vs. “Money War,” 17.4%; “Ripleys,” 11.1% vs. “Bandila,” 6.9%. “Saksi,” 6%.
GMA is panicking with the ABS-CBN’s impressive performance in national ratings. Where before it could claim to be number one because of its higher ratings in Mega Manila, now it cannot do this because national ratings are now available. It has intensified publication of its Mega Manila ratings and had announced show introductions in the coming months.

Fans are raving. The detractors are graving. This is the scenario as far as Love Me Again’s first day gross is concerned. A local tabliod entertainment columnist, Allan Diones, claimed that the Piolo-Angel starrer raked in a mere $5.8 million nationwide on its first day. He said it was according to a very reliable source. The figure is printed in his column at Abante Tonite.
On the other side, there were unofficial reports that Piolo’s movie with Angel grossed a big $15 million on its first day. While that number is quite high, it is not that unbelievable, considering the way the people flocked in to its premiere at SM Megamall. On its first day of showing, there were two theaters for Love Me Again in almost all SM Cinemas. Why? To accommodate the influx of movie goers all eager to watch Piolo and Angel on the big screen. I myself watched on the first day. I would say that the number of people is twice as much as I expected. The $5.8 million figure is way too low for what I have seen. They should have raised it to $8 million at least, to make it a little believable.
However, the people behind Star Cinema is mum about the movie’s official box office sales on its first day. Today, Love Me Again marks its second week of showing. No figures from the producers are out yet. Is this a strategy? Or a marketing study? Remember that Star Cinema didn’t release first day gross values of the Sarah-John Lloyd movie, A Very Special Love either. But it was the strongest last year, before Ai-Ai’s MMFF entry, Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat.
Bottomline? 5.8 million or 15 million, it really doesn’t matter. The movie was watched and flocked by many Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual fans. It wouldn’t take away the fact that it was a good movie with great cinematography and superb acting. It’s worth your money, especially if you’re a fan. I’d watch it over again if I could.
Cool.

Love Me Again grossed more than 15 Million on its first day of showing Jan 20, ’09
Finally, Star Cinema confirmed that Love Me Again had been very successful on its box office result especially on its first day of showing because it grossed more than 15 Million.
Angel Locsin was very ecstatic with the result of her first movie under Star Cinema. Then, she gladly says that after this movie she will be having a movie with Aga Muhlach, entitled Love in Heaven. It is expected to be shown on theaters this late 2009 under Star Cinema. Love Me Again is still showing in over 130 theaters in the Philippines.

SHOW BUSINESS:

These movies will not be remembered and did not put a mark on people’s minds kasi nga chaka talaga ever.
Iza Calzado yes magaling umarte. You don’t belong sa GMA. You should transfer kung san andun ang magagaling. Go go go!
Maybe it’s d other way around.

As far as I know, there is always a feeling of being an insecure and inferior basta kapuso…
It reflects with their network…
But the happiest person with AGB rating is Claudia…
Aminin…claudia is i.d.i.o.t..
January 23rd, 2009 at 8:19 pm
To Dominic
kahit na sabihin nating ganito ang nanonood sa gma , hindi mo maitatanging no.1 ang GMA sa mega manila, at gma is doing good in national . Dahil sa dalawang reason na to, GMA greatly surpasses the income of ABS.
Puro international shows ang pinanonood .
Maraming ganon outside mega manila. Kaya no.1 kayo in terms of national ratings.
Kaya lng may problema kayo, MEGA manila is the richest angd largest market in the philippines, kaya kahit mag no.1 kayo national mas malaki ang incone ng GMA.bECAUSE GMA IS NO.1 IN MEGA MANILA.
sA SUSUNOD WAG KANG NANGHAHAMAK NG MGA TAO, KAHIT SABIHIN MO PANG GANOON CLA, TAO PARIN YON.Tanggapin nyo nalng na kahit no.1 kayo sa national mas malaki ang kitas ng GMA at hindi nyo maitatangi yon, kahit itanong nyo pa sa BIR, far eastern economic review , fortune mag, etc.
ABS umandar na namn ang pagiging laitera

January 23rd, 2009 at 8:33 pm
Sa mga kapamilyucks dyan na sobrang laitera
I admit no.1 kayo sa national, pero you also have to admit na no.1 kami sa MEGA MANILA

January 24th, 2009 at 12:11 am
hello porket no. 1 kuno sa mega manila mataas na ang kita nito…… syempre panung hindi laging mataas ang kita ng GMA? take note “NET INCOME”
January 24th, 2009 at 12:17 am
ABS-CBN is a Philippine multi-media conglomerate and the largest integrated media and entertainment company in the Philippines with an asset base of more than PHP32.5 billion (US$666.8 million) as of June 2008….
take note ha
asset base of more than PHP32.5 billion (US$666.8 million) as of June 2008….
yan ba ang nalulugi? patawa kau no hahahaha…
January 24th, 2009 at 12:52 am

Panu nangyari yun??? Income ba ibig mo sabihin?
