Two NBA stars were robbed of cash and jewelry by masked gunmen in a separate holdups. For this month, this is the second time that a Chicago-native NBA star has been the victim of home invasion.

Earlier this month, Miami Heat star forward, Antoine Walker was robbed along with his relative in his mansion in Chicago’s exclusive River North section July 9. Walker was about to leave his residence when a group of men forced him back into his house and robbed him.

Two weeks after the incident, New York Knicks forward, Eddy Curry was similarly robbed and tied up with his wife, Korie and an employee in his mansion in suburban Burr Ridge Saturday. Three masked gunmen broke into his home and restrained them with a duct tape as they went through the house then stole money, jewelries and other valuables of the NBA star.

Chicago police investigators continue to work with the cops in nearby Burr Ridge to know whether the three robbers were involved in both crimes.
