More than 50 Asian-American individuals rallied outside an H&M department store on the Magnificent Mile to call for the dismissal of a white male employee on allegations of making racist and sexist comments to a female Filipino-American customer. Watch the video clip after the jump.

Filipino American nurse and retired U.S. Air Force Reserve Staff Sergeant, Frannie Richards filed a complaint against the H&M department store at 840 N. Michigan Ave., USA charging that while she was shopping on Sept. 13, a white male employee said, “mail-order bride in the house” and started giggling with another employee.

Her ability to speak English was even mocked by the same employee. When she asked where the fitting room was, the employee said “Can’t you read English? It’s over there – fitting room.” And as she was walking away, he was saying “ching, ching, chong.”

H&M still refused to comment on the complaint but the company officials say that they are actively investigating the incident.
