May nagawa ba sila trillanes, escudero, etc..

Its our fault not those persons on top, but they need also to look back for us who needs help, Mabigyan man lang ng trabaho eh ok na, may pangkain man lang ok na yan.
December 12th, 2007 at 7:00 pm
December 12th, 2007 at 8:22 pm

December 12th, 2007 at 8:26 pm
December 12th, 2007 at 8:33 pm
December 12th, 2007 at 8:38 pm

December 12th, 2007 at 8:45 pm
Sometimes I think that Madam President is misunderstood by her people.
Maybe we should switch places with her once in a while, and see how it feels like to be the President of a developing country.
I admire her for her patience.
Corrupt or not.
Ciao.

Alam mo Penny lane and the rest of the gang here.

Do you really believe the polls done by Pulse Asia to be true and unbiased? At one time, FALSE Asia’s survey said that MORE THAN 50% of the FILIPINOS want PEOPLE POWER. Just assume there are 50million Filipinos. 50 percent of 50milyon is 25milyon. UMABOT NA BA NG 25 MILYONG TAO ANG DUMATING SA TAWAG NG MGA PARI AT NI CORY AT MGA????
No matter how much you hate the President and how misinformed you are, like most of you are (and majority of Filipinos), and some of you are downright stupid, you cannot take away the fact that investors are coming in fast and furious to our shores, foreign businesses are setting up shop here, GMA is working damn hard to get concessions from foreign govts and solicit businesses from them more than any president before her bar none, that we have over $30 BILLION foreign reserve which is unprecedented, inflation is at an all-time low and almost non-existent, GMA is the only president who produced over 1 MILLION jobs (all the presidents combined did not even come close), and if the economy is not as robust and strong as it is, you would be paying a lot more for goods, fuel, and services. What is wrong with you people? All over the world, even in the US, prices are going up. What makes you think we are immune? If inflation is double-digits you would start prostituting yourself to eat.

produced over 1 MILLION jobs & increasing (all the presidents combined did not even come close), and if the economy is not as robust and strong as it
is, you would be paying out of your ass a lot more for goods, fuel, and services. The biggest car manufacturer in China will open here and Hanjin of
Korea, the ship-builder, is also half-way done with the building of their shipyard here. These are just two of the things that are happening here affecting
our economy. What is wrong with you people? All over the world, even in the US, prices are going up. What makes you think we are immune? Pag si

real news that matter to your life, not just read the sports, comics and what the priests and the opposition are saying. They are poisoning your mind. If
you believe them so much, and have no hope left, just put an end to your misery and pull the trigger. Most of you see the glass half-empty. I see the glass
half-full. When we were growing up, I never heard my mom and my dad blame our poverty on the govt. Fast forward to today, everyone in our family
worked hard to improve our lives. And we succeeded. But we won’t thru the same economic hardship. You people should learn how to shut up and
concentrate on how to improve your lives and open a business, no matter how minute it is. If you have an OFW spouse, you should save for that seed
money to open a business, and get some advice and funding from the negosyo plan instituted by GMA. Yakking about how bad GMA and the economy
are will lead you to more misery. It is Christmas, so think POSITIVE. Shun the naysayers and open your mind to great possibilities.

Ally wants GMA ‘most corrupt’ poll probed
By Angie M. Rosales
12/13/2007
In a bid to kill the messenger for coming up with a survey message showing President Arroyo as the “most corrupt president” in Philippine history, her staunchest ally, Sen. Miriam Santiago, yesterday vowed to unmask the alleged “culprit” behind the latest Pulse Asia survey that dared to make public the unfavorable results of its poll on who among the Philippine presidents earned the tag as the most corrupt.
She also reportedly threatened to have survey firms probed, as the senator claimed that they never conduct surveys unless they are paid for and financed by certain personalities.
Santiago said she is bent on filing a resolution today to investigate not only the particular survey firm but all major survey firms that have their results published in the media.
The woman senator pointed to a known member of the opposition, a former senator whom she did not name, but who she said was behind the Pulse Asia survey.
While she mentioned no names, it was already out in the
news Tuesday that former Sen. Sergio Osmena had commissioned that particular survey question.
Sources in the opposition said it was a rider question.
Santiago, in an interview with reporters, bared her plans of calling for a probe on this specific issue as soon as possible.
But Santiago’s colleagues, including the Senate leadership, are cold to her proposal, saying such results cannot be helped since this is the perception of the public of Mrs. Arroyo.
Senate President Manuel Villar Jr. twitted Santiago on her position, saying there was nothing wrong with the opposition commissioning the survey on corruption issues.
Mrs. Arroyo’s staunch ally said she wants to know who paid for these surveys, as she does not buy the claim that these polls are not commissioned and insists on knowing just who funded these surveys.
She also stated that she does not believe that the Pulse Asia survey results tagging Mrs. Arroyo as the “Most Corrupt President” in history are accurate.”
“Apart from the usual criticisms of accuracy of surveys, I don’t think that any right-minded scientific professional survey firm will conduct a one-sided survey. There will always be a positive part of the survey. For example, it may ask: ‘Who is the most corrupt president?’ but it should ask also ‘Who do you think is the most successful economically among the presidents we have had’?” Santiago stressed.
“My unconfirmed report is that a member of the opposition commissioned the survey and was able to convince a major daily to use it as a banner headline. This is not a coincidence,” she said, and claimed she was outraged at these survey results and their publication.
Condemning Pulse Asia, Santiago claimed: “This survey firm has always been associated with a former president. I would not say that there is a direct connection between that former president and this firm. I do know however that there is an opposition figure who commissioned the survey and paid the firm. He is very slippery. It (the survey) does serve the purpose of the opposition to put President Arroyo down,” she noted.
Villar disputed the assessment of Santiago as he hinted that it would be unlikely for the matter to be even taken up by them, saying it would be better for the President to address this current perception of the public on her.
“She (Mrs. Arroyo) should just accept this (opinion of the Filipinos of her),” he stressed.
Sen. Panfilo Lacson, opposition member, joined Villar in chiding Malacañang and the chief executive on their response to the issue of Mrs. Arroyo as most corrupt president, tossing the blame on the series of scandals that continue to rock the administration.
“In other societies, such widespread indictment would be enough to make a leader resign. In Mrs. Arroyo’s case, it further fuels her motivation to work for the extension of her term via Charter change. Only in the Philippines,” Lacson said.
The same call was issued by another member of the opposition, Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, who strongly advised Mrs. Arroyo the following: To issue the release of the Neda-ICC documents on the broadband project so that the public can see how the government approved this project; order the return home of former controversial Agriculture Undersecretary Jocelyn “Joc-joc” Bolante to face the music in the proper venues and make sure that the fertilizer fund scam will finally be resolved; cancel all foreign loans that are associated with questionable big-ticket projects including the P25 billion Cyber-Ed project; and go after the big-time smugglers and tax evaders, sparing no political sacred cows in the process.
“I humbly put forward these areas where the administration can start walking the talk and hardening its resolve against corruption.”
For former President Estrada, he said that “if the surveys and majority of the Filipinos believe that Mrs. Arroyo is corrupt, then perhaps she indeed is (the most corrupt).”
Estrada was reacting to the “Most Corrupt President” tag, earned by Mrs. Arroyo, topping former strongman Ferdinand Marcos in corruption, as measured by Pulse Asia.
“If that is what the survey shows then it is true. I am a believer of surveys. Even when I first ran for Mayor of San Juan I was given 50-50 chance from that time, I won. I am a true believer of surveys as a mayor, as a senator, and as President, even at the height of my popularity,” Estrada said.
He stated that he is willing to help the Arroyo regime provided it shows sincerity in its treatment of the Filipino people the Arroyo government claims to be helping. “They (government) must decide for the good of the greatest number which is the poor,” he said.
Asked if he has already seen or felt the sincerity by the government Estrada shrugged and said: “No.”
The survey, conducted last October showed Mrs. Arroyo being widely viewed by the Filipino people as the most corrupt ever, topping the most corrupt list with a 42 percent rating nationwide.
Marcos came in second, with a 35 percent rating. Estrada came in as a far third, with a mere 16 percent of the respondents rating him in the same corrupt listing.
He came in second, however, in the same survey as the “least corrupt president” or not corrupt president after Corazon Aquino.
The findings on Estrada validate past surveys where the majority of the people saw him as not having enriched himself while in office, as against the great majority of the respondents also saying that Mrs. Arroyo definitely enriched herself while in the presidential office.
For its part, Malacañang yesterday branded as “unfair” and “baseless” the latest Pulse survey findings.
Both Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye and Presidential Management Staff (PMS) chief Secretary Cerge Remonde claimed to be in disbelief over the survey results, claiming that the poll does not represent the sentiments of the majority of the 84 million Filipinos, and only a handful, or 1,200 who were polled expressed these sentiments.
“How can you compare 1,200 respondents to the majority of the 84 million Filipinos? We have to check the line of questioning used. Were the questions leading? We have to consider also the kind of respondents chosen. All these must be considered before making any judgment,” Bunye said.
When asked to comment if the survey has no credibility, Bunye said “ Let us just say, we don’t agree with the characterization (of Mrs. Arroyo as the most corrupt president ever).”
Remonde, for his part, said the survey is baseless because it does not look at the positive developments done by the Arroyo administration but merely relied of perceptions.
Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermtia, however, expressed belief that the opposition is behind the survey and that this is part of yet another plot to destabilize the government.
“Just like in boxing, they try to do body punching on the President because they cannot give her a straight cut. It’s fortunate that we have a strong contender (Mrs. Arroyo) ,” Ermita said, adding that the people behind the survey are known to be “unfriendly” toward Mrs. Arroyo but stressed that he is not referring to the political opposition.
“Some elements from the opposition, not really the political groups, might be behind this (survey) so they can continue to criticize the President,” Ermita said.
Ermita also urged the media to be more positive in reporting so the good deeds done by Mrs. Arroyo can be made known to the public, citing as example the effort of the chief executive in saving Overseas Filipino Worker Marilou Ranario from her death sentence in Kuwait.
The Palace official also observed that some media men “glorified” opposition Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV despite his wrong deeds in leading the standoff at the Manila Peninsula last Nov. 29.

Then we find out that some of the opposition people are behind the survey. SHAME SHAME. You people are easily manipulated.
No matter how much you hate the President and how misinformed you are, like most of you are (and majority of Filipinos), and how some of you are just downright stupid, you cannot deny these facts attributed to PGMA:
1. that investors are investing in our economy, buying our currency & coming fast and furious to our shores
2. foreign businesses are setting up shop here
3. GMA is working damn hard to get concessions from foreign govts and solicit businesses from them more than any president before her, bar none. Every time she leaves the country she brings home a big package to the Filipino people (jobs, jobs, and more jobs)
4. that we have over $30 BILLION foreign reserve which is unprecedented – this prevents currency raiders to bring our economy down willy-nilly
5. inflation is at an all-time low and almost non-existent
6. GMA is the only president who generated over 1.09 MILLION jobs & increasing in the first five months of 2005 alone. GMA is targeting to create 5 MILLION MORE JOBS!!! All the presidents combined did not even come close – all the previous presidents COMBINED were only able to produced around 300,000 jobs.
7. the Philippines is now paying debts even before they are due
8. that our government will balance the budget in 2008, two years ahead of schedule to save on the interest of debt service and ensure investment in vital social and economic needs
9. during her term, extreme hunger and poverty dropped to 27.6 percent in 2004 from 34.5 percent in 1990

19. for all the talk about China being the world’s factory, the fact remains that the Philippine manufacturing sector has been doing well at 4-percent to 5-percent growth rates in the last three years
There are more positive news going on with our economy. And these are happening against the backdrop of our ballooning POPULATION – it went up by a whopping 20%!!!! Do you know what that means? More mouth to feed, more people to employ, more housing to build, more schools and roads to construct, more aids and medicine to help the poor, more free services, ad infinitum! The job of the president is not easy.
Asian tigers like Taiwan and South Korea took a decade or two of sustained 5-percent to 7-percent economic growth before they could address massive poverty. These days, China and India have been growing at 8 percent to 10 percent and yet, if we look beyond the surface, they still have a lot of things to do to touch the lives of their miserable masses. The same is true for us. To the naysayers, READ and be informed, instead of parroting the opposition lines and mantras becoz it is not only bad for GMA but for all Filipino across the board. If you continue to speak ill of this govt, no investors will come to the Philippines. No loans will be granted to us by the lending institutions of the world. We will be put in a box with little to go on. In international conferences, one often observes that while other countries discuss their gains and the “challenges” they need to overcome to usher in growth, Filipinos are beating their breasts — telling the whole world things are not changing, the Philippines is doomed forever and only the Second Coming of Christ could save the Filipino from damnation. No wonder other countries look down on us despite positive changes we’ve achieved. Such self-defeating negativity from what should have been more enlightened Filipinos, are aggravated by the sweeping remarks of political leaders from either side of the fence who interpret the data to either demolish the other or embellish one’s accomplishment.
If the economy is not as robust and strong as it is, you would be paying out of your ass a lot more for goods, fuel, and services. The biggest car manufacturer in China will open here and Hanjin of Korea, the Iship-builder, s also half-way done with the building of their shipyard here. The ABS system used in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volvo cars are made in the Philippines. 2005 was the first year that the Philippines exported cars in quantity courtesy of Ford Motor Company. Further investments in this sector are expected to grow in the next following years. Intel continues to operate in the Philippines as major producer of Intel’s advanced products including the Pentium 4 processor. Texas Instruments expanded their operation here and is the largest producer of DSP chips in the world. TI’s Baguio plant produces 100% of all the chips used in Nokia cell phones and 80% of all chips used in Ericsson cell phones in the world. Until 2005, Toshiba laptops were produced in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Presently the Philippine plant’s focus is in the production of HDD’s. One of the software houses established in the country is Trend Micro, an anti virus software maker with its main product PC-Cillin. The company develops its “cures” for viruses in Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City. These are just a few of the things that are happening here affecting our economy. What is wrong with you people? All over the world, even in the US, prices are going up. What makes you think we are immune? If inflation is double-digits you would start prostituting yourself to eat. For your sake, read the real news that matter to your life, not just read the sports, comics and what the priests and the opposition are saying. They are poisoning your mind. If you believe them so much, and have no hope left, just put an end to your misery and pull the trigger. Most of you see the glass half-empty. I see the glass half-full. When we were growing up, I never heard my mom and my dad blame our poverty on the govt. Fast forward to today, everyone in our family worked hard to improve our lives. And we succeeded. But we won’t thru the same economic hardship. You people should learn how to shut up and concentrate on how to improve your lives and open a business, no matter how minute it is. If you have an OFW spouse, you should save for that seed money to open a business, and get some advice and funding from the negosyo plan instituted by GMA. Yakking about how bad GMA and the economy are will lead you to more misery. It is Christmas, so think POSITIVE. Shun the naysayers and open your mind to great possibilities.

Naudlot power grabbing nila. After a powerful right hook na sablay, eto pa jab jab na naman.
After all, the silent majority is all tired of this.
December 14th, 2007 at 11:47 am
Who is Serge Osmena anyway? A traditional trapo na wala namang nagawa nung nasa senate sya. Pumapapel lang yan dahil malapit na ang 2010 and he’s going to run na naman for senator.
Most corrupt? may mananalo pa ba kay Marcos?
December 14th, 2007 at 11:48 am
corection pala 10 billion dollars pala nakurakot ni Marcos.
December 14th, 2007 at 12:09 pm

TOL “MEG” BAKIT MO SINISISI SI MARCOS NA PINAKA CORRUPT?
ALAM MO BA ANG KASAYSAYAN NG PILIPINAS HA?
NATURAL LANG NA MAGKAUTANG TAYO NG BILYON BILYON DAHIL MARAMING PINAGAWA SI MARCOS NA INFASTRUCTURES SA PILIPINAS! AT KUNG HINDI PA SYA NATANGGAL SA PAGKA-PANGULO MAS MAYAMAN NA ANG PINAS SA BUONG ASYA!
HINDI SA GUMAGAWA AKO NG ISTORYA MGA TOL HA….
LAGING SINASABI NG MAYARI NG COMPANY NA PINAPASUKAN KO TUWING PUPUNTA SYA SA IBANG BANSA PARA DOON MAGRESEARCH KUNG ANO NA ANG LATEST NA HIGH-TECH MACHINE AT KUNG PAANO MAGTRAAHO ANG MGA IBANG BANSA, LAGING SINASAI NG MGA HAPON, INTSIK, KOREANO NA “ANO NA ANG NANGYARI SA PILIPINAS? DATI E KAMI ANG PUMUPUNTA SA INYO PARA MALAMAN KUNG ANO ANG SEKRETO NYO SA PAG-UNLAD PERO NGAYON KAYOY NAGHIHIRAP NA!”
December 14th, 2007 at 7:07 pm
December 15th, 2007 at 11:53 am
Ate GLO, you are delusional. Magbasa ka naman. Lumaki kang tang-na! BUSIT!

Do you really believe the polls done by “FALSE” Asia to be true and unbiased? At one time, FALSE Asia’s survey said that MORE THAN 50% of the FILIPINOS want PEOPLE POWER. Just assume there are 50million Filipinos. 50 percent of 50milyon is 25milyon. Then we find out that some of the opposition people are behind the survey. SHAME SHAME. You people are easily manipulated.
No matter how much you hate the President and how misinformed you are, like most of you are (and majority of Filipinos), and how some of you are just downright stoopid & gullible, you cannot deny these facts attributed to PGMA:
1. that investors are investing in our economy, buying our currency & coming fast and furious to our shores
2. foreign businesses are setting up shop here

I’m not pro Gloria facts lang sinasabi ko.

9. during her term, extreme hunger and poverty dropped to 27.6 percent in 2004 from 34.5 percent in 1990
10. in a span of one year 5,260 barangays was energized and 8,020 waterless households were served in Metro Manila – this is part of GMA’s Electricity and Water for all.

Why shouldn’t we trust the latest Pulse Asia survey on corruption?
First off, the said survey was held during the height of the ZTE controversy while no similar surveys were conducted on the past presidents when they were facing identical situations (i.e., military unrest during the Aquino presidency, Jose Velarde and Jueteng controversy).
Pulse Asia did not take into consideration the fact that response—according to cognitive psychologists—is largely based on the most recently learned script (scripts are inputs that we use on responding). Also, the respondents were asked to choose only one president, when one for instance might think that two or three presidents are equally the most corrupt.
Secondly, it is unjustifiable because it is based on perception, which primarily was influenced by unfair media reporting. There are neither hard evidences showing government funds going straight to the pocket of the president, nor adequate prima facie evidence to prove probable cause for any act of wrongdoing. There are however, premature election campaigns in the guise of deceitful political propagandas.
Thirdly, history as a reference to base a sound judgment is not very reliable. For instance, history never highlighted the fact that the Aquino presidency was the worst environment for journalists.
Lastly, the sample Pulse Asia used which purportedly represented the present population, holds no credibility and no right to choose whom they assume as the most corrupt among the last five presidents, because the sample size taken from the 86 million Filipinos is underrepresented and overrepresented. The survey includes the over 30 million Filipinos who were not there or were too young when Marcos or Cory became president, and obviously excludes the Filipinos who were alive then. If perception is the only criterion, then surveys should have been conducted for every presidency determining what percentage of the population perceives their president to be corrupt.

She will not be President forever.
MORAL LESSON.
5. In the first place, hindi naman dapat siya ang naka upo diyan. SHE CHEATED.
8. Marami rin na mabuting nagawa si GMA, but does it make it right na magnakaw siya?
9. The BASIC System of Good Governance isd there to STOP CORRUPTION. WE DO NOT NEED NEW LAWS What we need is the IMPLEMENTATION of this laws.
10. We need a future Leader or President with a strong political will, even though it will be another martial law, similar to Singapore, to DISCIPLINE the untamed Filipinos, BBECAUSE WE ARE ALL CORUPT IF WE LET CORRUPTION PREVAIL.
May I end this with a quote from Mr. / Ms. PSP:
psp Says:

Nakakalungkot isipin..
Lets just pray.. for peace & His guidance.
Its the best thing we could do to help.
God Bless you all..

May 13th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
July 23rd, 2008 at 1:20 am

July 27th, 2008 at 9:10 pm
forums like this are impossible because of pros and cons, we dont think neutrally, we take sides and ofcourse defend what we think is true to us…
anyway, if you are smart enough of talking about such change why dont you start it within you then your family and help your community, we keep asking for change but we dont even bother seeing that we too are Filipinos with responsibilities in our country, kung wala na talaga kaung pag asa sa gobyerno edi ausin nyo na lang buhay nyo, start working on something yourselves. your just wasting time and effort sa pagrereklamo
basta ako… ang pogi ko!^^hehe

When we talk about corrupt we should see first our selves. for a reason i say this cause our politician becomes corrupt because of us.. why? palagi tayong naghihingi sa mga politician, either donations, projects, medicines, etc.

see how it works? MADUMI, MADAYA, SINUNGALING, etc. Don’t expect any positive description about her after what she did. STOLEN the PRESIDENCY! pinaikot nya lahat and she succeeded.

No matter how much you hate the President and how comment lang control kay vilma :misinformed you are, like most of you are (and majority of Filipinos), and some of you are downright stupid, you cannot take away the fact that investors are coming in fast and furious to our shores, foreign businesses are setting up shop here, GMA is working damn hard to get concessions from foreign govts. oo tama ka dyan may investor nga ung china napakalaki ng investment ng china dito at nagpapautang pa ano naging kapalit ung spratly island. damn hard ka pang nalalaman para san para sa sariling kapkanan.

Some exceptional thoughts right here. Have you been convinced that is the proper way to appear at it however? My very own particular expertise is the fact that almost everyone are encouraged to fairly significantly are living and let live given that what just one individual thinks just — an additional person purely does not. Human beings are planning to do what they wish to do. Around the end, they consistently do. Probably the most we can pray for is to highlight several stuff here and there that hopefully, makes it possible for them to build just a little far better informed decision. Otherwise, exceptional article. You are undeniably creating me feel!

A person of my preferred points about blogging is this community of bloggers. We aren’t cut-throat. We share successes and miseries. And when something performs, we don’t hold it to ourselves – we want it to operate for all people. I love blogging and hope that it becomes full-time 1 day, but I appreciate the studying and growing (the journey) and am quite a patient man.
