44-year old Filipino, Renaldo Lapuz was one of the thousand hopefuls who auditioned for the American Idol Season 7 in Dallas, Texas.

Renaldo performed his own composition “We’re Brothers Forever.” Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell were very much entertained by Renaldo’s performance but in the end, he still did not get the chance to make it to Hollywood. Simon Cowell in a statement said, “I’m going to make a prediction here. I have a horrible feeling that it’s going to be a hit record. You’re very entertaining. I actually like you but it’s going to be ‘No.’”
