SSS to extend loan condonation for 6 months
Posted by: iostream @ 1:20 am in: News & Current Events (9,500 views) September 4th, 2007Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo had asked and instructed the Social Security System (SSS) to extend its loan condonation restructuring program for its members by another six months.
On her speech during the agency’s 50th anniversary celebration, Arroyo said that she had asked SSS chairman Thelmo Cunanan and the SSS board to extend the condonation program for six more months. She even said that this indeed is social payback. Arroyo also congratulated and noted the agency’s strong performance after they have faced a near financial collapse, six-and-a-half years ago.
SSS assets had risen to P248 billion with its investment income amounting to P15.58 billion in the last six months.

is there any schedule for short-term loan condonation this year 2008? On d website of SSS there is a guidelines for condonation program for delinquent short-term member loans but actually it seems that d site of sss has a problem always that i could not open it to know wat is dat all about.

Paano po ung may existing salary condonation, sakop din po ba yon ng extension kasi dapat ung payment po ng loan ko up to Dec. 31, 2009 so ibig sabihin extended din kami up to June 2010.
Sana po mabigyan ng linaw ang inquiry kong ito, kasi up to now lubog pa rin kami sa baha.

Yong loan ko matatapos dapat sa april 2010 pero di na ako nakakabayad kahit isang beses pwede ko bang i-condonation toh this december?
