Claudia dito sa mid east di namin alam yang ratings na yan, pero base sa mga pinoy dito na naging subscriber nang TFC at nag subscribe nang GMA PinoyTv wala pa rin sinabi ang mga shows nang GMA and thats for sure! kasi kapag nakausap mo ang mga pinoy na nagpakabit nang pinoytv nang gma, sasabihin nila habol lang nila NBA and some english movies, diba parang nakaka awa ang GMA naki sabit na nga lang sila sa Orbit eh di pa rin pala sila tatangkilin nang mga pinoy…. ouch! pero sa TFC all Kapamilya shows lang pero di mo matawaran ang subscriber nila at lahat kami kuntento sa TFC at isa pa me sarili silang satellite provider! Syensya na sa comment ko, totoo lang po!

ang pinakamahalagang rating location (Nationwide) ang matagal na inaasam ng GMA na makamit ang number 1 ay talunan pa rin….. kaya halos mamigay na ng groceries para lang mag #1 pero loser pa rin.. kaya habang pataas ang ABS sa Mega MAnila eh palubog lalo ang GMA.. Kahit na anong claim na #1 sila eh lagi pa ring flop sa movies, album sales, concert sales etc. kaya pahiya lagi sila…

i wonder bakit puro mega manila nlang ang pinopost dito.. before kasama pa ang nationwide.. hmmm… cguro binayaran ang admin ni Wilma Galvante.. xa din diba ang nagbayad para manira ng artists ng ABS before diba.. and xa rin ata ang may pakulo ng pamimigay ng groceries sa mga panel homes.. tapos xa rin ang nagbabayad at nagkokontrata sa mga bus drivers para tumutok sa GMA… hay naku.. ang GMA talaga gagawin ang lahat mag #1.. 30% ng revenue nila napupunta sa dirty tactics nila.. kaya pag dating sa mga movie sales, album sales, concert sales eh kitang kita na mas malakas ang ABS kasi ndi na pwedend dayain..
Un mga movies ng GMA flop lagi pero may mga libreng tickets pa un na kasama ha

NEW YORK – The world’s longest-running TV soap opera, “Guiding Light,” will broadcast its final episode on CBS in September due to slumping ratings, ending a 72-year run that began on radio, the network said on Wednesday.
The daytime show transferred from NBC radio to CBS television in 1952. It has won 69 Daytime Emmy Awards throughout its history.
Guinness World Records has dubbed it the world’s longest-running TV drama. More than 15,700 episodes will have been broadcast by the time its final episode airs on September 18.
“‘Guiding Light’ has achieved a piece of television history that will never be matched; it has crossed mediums, adapted its stories to decades of social change and woven its way through generations of audiences like no other,” said Nancy Tellem, CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group president.
“We are working hard to find the show a new home, and we are exploring all our options to continue to bring loyal fans the characters and stories they love,” said Brian T. Cahill, senior vice president and managing director, TeleNext Media, Inc., which produces the show.

According to Star Cinema Booking and Distribution, You Changed My Life raked P18 Million nationwide gross on its opening day alone. This surpasses the P14 Million nationwide opening day gross of A Very Special Love, which was shown on August of 2008. It broke again the record of Philippine Cinema ticket sales when hit 27 million in just one day, three days after it premiered. A record breaking 150 million box-office gross return in just 1 week of showing. The movie earned a whopping P170M after 11 days of showing, making the fastest and highest grossing film in the Philippines in very short period of time. As of March 22, 2009, according to Boxoffice Mojo’s weekend boxoffice tally, the movie has already reached an amazing 216 million pesos gross in the box office. For the first time in Philippine cinema that a local movie has reached a 200 million mark in the box-office and it was hailed as the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time.

Anytime now, Raffy Tulfo will file a “breach of contract” case against TV5.
According to a Funfare informer, sometime in Oct. 2008, Raffy’s AC Productions, represented by his publicist Joey Sarmiento, started negotiating with TV5 to buy airtime for his show called Wanted, with him as host. Several meetings followed soon after, between October and December, and the deal was finalized.
Last March 2, the contract between AC Productions and MPB Primedia, Inc. (which manages TV5) was signed. AC issued a check for P50,000 to Primedia as “reservation fee.”
Meanwhile, Raffy bought editing machines, video cameras, computers and other production equipment; and secured contracts with various advertisers. He also announced the forthcoming show on his dzXL program Wanted sa Radyo. A billboard announcing the show was to be put up along EDSA as per the contract.
As agreed upon, on March 27, AC Productions submitted a Payment Before Broadcast (PBB) check and a tape of the first episode for the MTRCB preview, only for Raffy to receive a letter on the same day from Primedia informing him that TV5 wouldn’t be airing Wanted because it doesn’t conform to the station’s format. Instead, Primedia proposed another show without Raffy in it.
Two views of the Divas’ concert in Atlantic City
The more than three hours Divas 4 Divas concert at the Boardwalk Hall of Fame in Atlantic City last March 21 was SRO and, according to Funfare contributor Bobby Yalong, “simply fabulous!”
Each of the divas — Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Pops Fernandez and Kuh Ledesma who’s also the producer of the concert’s US tour — gave individual numbers before they did a production number together “that sent the audience into a thundering, endless applause.”
Added Bobby, “One of the highlights was when the divas borrowed each other’s hit songs. They were a hit when they came out in golden silk kimonos with matching rhinestone-crusted headdresses and did a couple of Madonna songs.”
The guest performer, Gabby Concepcion, was a real crowd-pleaser when he sang two songs, Iisa Pa Lamang and Mula sa Puso, from his album.
Concluded Bobby, “The producer Mely ‘Bing’ Pechangco Gabriel of MPG Global Productions, was very happy. The show was successful.”
The feedback from another Funfare informer who was there was something else.
“The shows started at 9:15 p.m., more than one hour behind schedule,” said the informer. “Many of those in the audience started boo-ing dahil naiinip na sila. Many of them came from New York; others came from other places. Kaya daw na-late ang mga divas because they just came from another state but they still went shopping daw and were so tired that they overslept. Di tuloy nakapag-sound check, so the sound system was not good.
“But you know how Filipinos are. They make fun of even a most inconvenient situation. Joked one of them, ‘Siguro nirayuma dahil mga aging diva na sila.’ Nakakatawa, ‘no?
“It was Gabby who won the audience’s heart. When he was called to the stage, many people rushed forward to take his pictures. They also enjoyed his singing. Talagang pinagkaguluhan siya.”

““Sobrang Okey, Pare” first started airing on February 2, 1997 with a live show from the GMA Broadway studios…. However, the show suffered in comparison to ABS-CBN’s “ASAP” and even had to endure a lot of criticisms from the entertainment press for using an acronym for the show’s title that sounded like the rival show’s. Despite the effort by the hosts and staff to make the show more exciting for the viewers every Sunday, “Sobrang Okey Pare” registered low ratings from the start and hardly gained support from the advertisers.”

PHILIPPINES,NATIONWIDE EVEN HERE IN ABROAD OR IN OTHER COUNTRY. MOST PEOPLE (FILIPINO BLOOD) WATCHING ABS-CBN SHOWS. ABS-CBN IS THE BEST. WE CAN’T DENY IT! IT’S A FACT!
THEY SAID, GMA-7 IS NUMBER ONE? LOL! ONLY IN MEGA MANILA MAYBE THEY ARE NUMBER 1. HOW ABOUT TO THE OTHER PART OF THE PHILIPPINES AND TO THE OTHER COUNTRY? ONLY THE FACT, ABS-CBN WATCH BY MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF FILIPINOS AROUND THE WORLD.
MOST PEOPLE STILL WATCHING AND TRUSTING ABS-CBN.
I’M NOT SAYING THAT GMA-7 SHOWS ARE NOT GOOD. BUT ALL I CAN SAY, GMA-7 NEED TO DEVELOP THEIR TALENTS AND TO THEIR SHOWS BETTER AS WELL.
UNLIKE, ABS-CBN TALENTS AND SHOWS. WE CAN SEE THE CREDIBILITY AND THE PROFESSIONALISM. THAT’S WHY MOSTLY OF THE ADVERTISERS OR ADVERTISING COMPANY CHOOSE TALENTS FROM ABS-CBN TO PROMOTE THEIR PRODUCTS. ABS-CBN TALENTS FAMOUS/KNOWN IN THE PHILIPPINES AND HERE IN ABROAD OR OTHER COUNTRY AS WELL.

sa tingin ko matagal pa ang tayong dalawa,super ganda kc,hndi ka mabibitin(bitin lang pag friday na,hehehehe),wala ung sobrang daming twist na sa sobrang pagtwist eh nawawala na sa story,bwat character eh may knya knya png story,pra ka na ring nanood ng ilang soap opera sa isang upuan….

hahaha ang mga kanguso sabi ng sabi na no.1 ang gme7 di naman ma-explain ang mga gusot sa pagiging no.1 daw ng gme7…
ito ang iilan lang sa mga gusot sa pagiging no.1 daw ng gme7!!
1. bakit CHEAP ang airtime rates ng GME7 di ba no.1 sa MM?
2. bakit FLOPS palagi ang movies ng gmefilms gayong marami daw nanonood sa gme7?
3. bakit mas pinipili ng mga advertisers ang KAPAMILYA talents na mag endorse sa kanilang produkto kesa sa gme talents?
4. bakit pinagbabasihan ng gme7 ang 400 na bahay ang sinusurvey ng agb sa mega manila gayong 1,500 ang total panel homes o ang sinusurvey na bahay sa pilipinas?
5. paano nasasab ng GME7 na “MOST WATCHED TV STATION daw sila gayong ang MEGA MANILA ay kukunti lang ang sinusurvey dahil para lang ito sa mga advertisers..

its my first time here.. I read all the comments and i found out mostly people who are here..they are arguing about ratings or who’s the famous tv networks there in the philippines or who’s the famous talents
(singers,actors,actresses,child stars,talents) from the two biggest network there…ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
I want to share.. all i know about that two tv networks there. Well, for all of us here in hongkong (filipino community) we really love ABS-CBN/TFC. Maybe you will ask me why…why….
my answers will goes like this..
The shows of abs-cbn/tfc are very well-directed and catchy to the hearts of our fellowmen… either you are pure blood filipino or half-blood filipino. You can relate to all the shows of them…
Their (abs-cbn) talents are very famous not only there in the philippines but around the world. The abs-cbn talents center…give more value/importance to their talents and nurtured them to be a good talents and responsible citizen of the philippines (singers,actors,actresses,child stars,dancers,stage performers) as well.
95 PERCENT OF THE PRODUCT/COMMERCIAL ENDORSERS are from the talents of THE BEST TV NETWORK..ABS-CBN.
Mostly and known actors,actresses,singers,talents and shows who received international awards or multi-awards are from the only and best station and number 1 station in the philippines… ABS-CBN!
FOR ALL OF US HERE! WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE PROOFS AND EVIDENCES. WE NEVER BELIEVE ON WHAT OTHERS SAY OR WRITE..
