Whammy! versus Kapamilya Deal or No Deal
Posted by: iostream @ 1:15 am in: TV & Movies (3,342 views) October 2nd, 2007GMA 7’s newest game show, Whammy! will premiere on Monday, October 8, 2007 before the primetime news program 24 Oras and is set to compete with ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.
FremantleMedia, producer of American Idol, now owns the rights of Whammy! In the localized version of this wildly entertaining game show, the contestants compete to spin the big board while trying to avoid the dreaded Whammy which is a naughty little creature that would steal your money when you landed on him. Good fortune and wit are needed to win this game. More than just a game of luck, it also challenges the contestants’ knowledge.
The local version of Whammy! will replace the time slot of the Chinovela Meteor Garden which will end this October 5. The newest game show of GMA 7 will be hosted by Rufa Mae Quinto and Paolo Bediones.

LOL! I agree, masyado nang luma itong game show na to at karamihan sa mga tao, ayaw na sa mga traditional trivia game shows. Sa KDOND, di na kailangan pa ng trivia kasi numbers game lang ito.

kung ayaw nyong manood wag kaung manood ok.at least ung whammy educational kc trivia game show yang deal or no deal sugal yan.pangit panoorin ng mga bata. isa pa pangit din ang host si kris kasi maarte siya.go go go kapuso siguradong tau pa rin ang number 1.

ito napapansin ko lang sa mga kapamilya ah.pag my bago sa kapuso pinapanood nila or naiinis sila panay ang react nila.bakit kaya? ay alam ko na kasi natatakot na naman silang matalbugan ng mga kapuso.hahahahaah.sorry na lang sainyo kasi mas magaling ang kapuso.hindi katulad ng kapamilya pang barrio lang.

Rufa Mae Quinto and Paolo Bediones as hosts? Paolo Bediones is ok, but Rufa Mae Quinto? Men!! Itapat ba kay Miss Kris? You know whats wrong with naGMAmarunong, parang pinipilit lang isalpak ang mga “talents” nila. Sana lang carry nya, ang alam nya lang is magpaka boba.

d nyo naman kailangang problemahin ang ratings ng 2 network eh…dba???
wag nyo ng pakialaman kung ano ang maganda o di maganda it’s up to the person naman kung ano ang taste nya dba…anong magagawa mo kung ang mas maganda para sa kanya is ung whammy o di kaya ay deal or no deal….????
at kay arikaara wag mo ipagcompare sina ruffa mae quinto at kris aquino kasi bawat isa sa kanila ay may kanya kanyang talento…d po ba??
hindi po aabot ng mahigit sampong taon sa showbiz si ms ruffa mae quinto kung ang alam nyang gawin is magpakaboba..
wala po taung karapatang manghusga ng ating kapwa…kaya wag nyo po masyadong pagkomparahin ang mga artista ng bawat istasyon..
ginagawa lang po nila ang kanilang trabaho at ang trabahong un ay upang pasayahin tayong mga manonood kaya kung ako sa inyo wag nyo ng pag-awayan ang tungkol sa shows, ratings, artista at kung ano ano pang meron sa dalawang istayon dahil parehas lang silang nagbibigay ng aliw sa atin…
ang pagkakaiba lang po nila is ang kanilang pangalan….wala pong mas maganda sa kanila dahil parehas lang silang maganda…
ang pagtuunan na lang natin ng pansin ay ang ating gobyerno at hindi ang bawat network dahil wala rin naman itong itutulong sa ating pamumuhay….
ito’ aking opinyon lang po at sana ay magsilbi itong eye opener sa nangyayari sa ating lipunan…..

Tignan na lang natin kung gaano tatagal ang Whammy sa GMA 7 kahit ako ay masugid na manonood ng Deal or No Deal at hindi dahil kay Kris Aquino, kundi sa 26k.

Nung una kong pinanood ang whammy sa GMA 7 grabe walang panama sa deal or no deal ni Kris. Nakakaboring and out of tune compare sa deal or no deal tense.

ang isipin ng gma kung pano nila maaafford magkaroon ng channel sa ibang cable company dahil asa directv lang sila di tulad ng ABS asa several cable company sila dito sa US kaya mas maraming nanonood ng ABS dito!!!! Whammy or no whammy we don’t care!

Di pwede palabasin ng GMA yan dahil sa conflic ng local whammy sa ibang bansa via pinoy TV specialy sa america dahil 10 years na whammy doon….very old show!!!
Hindi katulad ng Endemol shows na kinuha ng ABS-CBN pwede ipalabas via TFC dahil may rights sila sa franchise ng show at ibang version naman talaga nakalagay sa tittle.
But for me nang napanooran ko un whammy kahit 2 episode, mas gugustohin ko nalang manood ng Slingo ni Joey de Leon dahil at least un creative at up to 1M+++ cash prize hindi katulad ng whammy 500k lang ang pwede = CHEAP!!

ohh…Whammy?!A boring show…Even Whammy got a higher ratings, it is just in Manila; around the country, i’m pretty sure, ABS-CBN’s “Kapamila, Deal or no Deal?” leads…Again, GMA-7 got an idea from ABS-CBN to franchise international game shows to air it locally…They are cheaters….That’s all i can say…

You know guys…..For me, mas gusto ko ang deal or nodeal…beacuse 1. may excite appeal 2. creative ang set 3. may audience reasoning ang show…Eh sa Whammy na yan, ang corny corny….Lalo na ang mga uncelebrity contestants na super grabe ang acting…..Bsta go DOND and Go ABS-CBN!!!
