The world’s oldest person, Yone Minagawa from Japan, dies at the age of 114 Monday evening, Kyodo News report said.

Yone, a widow who lived in a nursing home was born on January 4, 1893 and has counted eating well and getting rest as the secrets of her longevity. Minagawa has been certified as the world’s oldest person by the Guinness Book of World Records after Emma Faust Tillman died in January.
