Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan will start airing on GMA Telebabad on September 24, 2007.

kaso over advertised naman ang zaido. prang lupin, naumany na ako at nawaan ng excitement nung pinalabas na, libong commercial endorsement ata ang nagawa nila bago yung show tpos aun, wlang kwenta, yung si lupin imbes na utak ang gumana puro muka, utak ipis naman! etong zaido yung costume, -10 na ang rating q.. hello 1980’s pa yun i compare nyu naman yan sa masked rider blade! tpos yungm ga artis nila eh mga balat sibuyas yan eh.. i wish magaling yung double!

Halatang mga die-hard kapuso kau at walang alam sa tokusatsu ano. well if your saying na Zaido was lincensed by Toei… the question is, are they doing it the way the japanese do this? I mean, no offense gys pero i’m very much in with Tokusatsu shows so i definitly know what I say. sa totoong lng. Zaido lacks so many elements that a tokusatsu must have. una. the costume does not fit a metal hero! puntahan niyo ang japanhero.com para mkita ninyo kung ano amg ichura ng mga costume nila.
Also, pormang may emphasis na naman ang love teams as always. a tokusatsu must be less love stry or no love story, and more action! third the vehicles. i saw their “vavilos” and i was stunned that it was created in 3D, tpos hindi pa pulido.
GAnito lng ang akin at sa lahat pa ng Totoong Fans ng Tokusatsu.
GMA has a problem! BIG-TIME! dnot get guys! i’m not a kapamilya. i’m acting like this kc bka sirain ng GMA hindi lamang ang magandang ala-ala ni Shaider, ang Magandang pangaln ng Tokusatsu kung saan sila nabibilang, kundi ang integridad nating mga pilipino!

Hey, Zaido is TOKUSATSU, not telefantasya. Ang Rounin naman hindi nakayanan ng mga Pilipinong mahihina ang utak kaya naging flop ito. Kahit critic kami, we are saying the TRUTH because we are true tokusatsu fans and everyone here are posers. We are not sour grapers. Sheesh…

first kaagad na napansin ko sa Zaido is the ugly costume… parang feeling ko substandard agad. Nakakahiya man sabihin na sa early 80’s galing ang show pero yung costumes nila, mas panget pa kaysa sa original. Tapos napanood ko kanina yung “The Making” at pansin ko mga characters na may halong pag-ibig. Badtrip hindi ito ang kwento ni Shaider. Dapat walang love story eh!

Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan (Zaido: Space Police or Zaido: Space Sheriff) is an upcoming series of GMA Network that is a sequel to the Japanese tokusatsu series, Uchuu Keiji Shaider. Initially, the network was supposed to do a remake of Shaider, but Toei rejected the script that they submitted. Toei instead, permitted them to write an original series featuring the descendants of the characters in Shaider. In fact, in the teasers that are currently aired for the show, the name of Toei is depicted in the show’s title card which signifies Toei’s blessing for the show. This will be a spin-off to the Uchuu Keiji Trilogy which is a part of the Metal Heroes genre in Japanese Tokusatsu. Also, this will be the unofficial fourth installment to the Uchuu Keiji Series, and the unofficial eighteenth installment to the Metal Heroes genre.

Tol, w8 lng, hnd nmn yata tamang sabihing PLAGIARISM ang gngwa ng GMA. Plagiarism is a passing of language/ideas of someone else as YOUR own. But as much as we know, GMA 7 has the blessing of TOEI to work with Shaider sequels. So what’s the point of you blabbering?

nyakz…..grabe nmng magcomment toh….. kung magcomment kau ng pangit malaming ininsulto nah ninyo ang toei….. don’t forget, nagsama ang toei at gma xa paglikha nito….tsk tsk tsk…… at ska, i know some remakes/sequels of sentai as bad (if u say it, not that i do) as this, id rather watch this zaido…. kung xa lastikman lng, natrauma nah ako xa rounin, ang ganda ng trailer, ng fighting scene, kaso xa story, walang adrenaline, npka-plain…..at ska hanggang xa trailer lng ako na hook nung una sa rounin, pagshowing nah, sheks!! parang talo pah ng super twins ang special effects…… this is honest to God truth………

kapuso, khit inulit mo lng ung nabasa ko sa palusot ng gma sa igma.tv eh eto lng ang masasabi. maraming flaws ang zaido to be called a metal hero series! bkit?
the story still has that shitty love story! sa isang hero series lalo na kung tinitirada ng gma na unofficial entry ito sa uchuu keiji at metal hero series, ang pinaka-focus ng story even from episode one p lmang ay ang labanan ng kabtihan at kasamaan! not much emphasis was given sa ibang characters! second, masyadong madrama at may love triangle pa sa mga pulis pangkalakawan! HINDI UN DAPAT!
tulad nga ng cnabi ng ilang kaibigan ko d2 sa net eh kaya pa naming tanggappin ang bloodline niya! pero bkit may story? anu para lumalim ang kuwento?! aba mas maganda pang bigyan na lng ng mas malamin na dahilan ang mga kalaban ni Zaido kesa sa lagyan pa ito ng love story para lumalim. isipin niyo nga. mas mabigat ang drama kung hindi luv ang isasama sa isang bagay. especially sa kwento nito na tngkol sa pulisyang pangkalawan! chaka ang kapal ng mukha ng GMA na tawaging simple ang COMBAT SUIT ni Shaider samatalang mukha ngang karton ang costume nila. bkit ko na naman cnbi yan? kc ung armor ng LHAT NG MEATL HEROES eh may circuitry sa loob na na papailaw d2! un ang ilang bagay na khit hindi mo na gawing CGI eh ayus lng! speaking of CGI! guys tigilan nyo nga yung away between ABS at GMA. Sa isyung ito kahit pa sa ABS mapunta ang Shaider eh kung substandard pa rin ang pagkakagawa, makakaasa kayong maraming paring pupuna na critics. Nakakainis lang talaga kasi isipin eh,para lang kumita kailangang i-sacrifice ang quality ng palabas. Also they don’t mind the story kapag sa kalagitnaan nawawala na essence ng story, ang mahalaga kasi sa mga network, eh mabigyan ng exposure ng artista nila. Kaya di na ko magtataka bagsak ang film industry ng bansa. Teka pati tuloy ako napapalayo eh! Shaider pala pinag-uusapan dito, pero sana nga bigyan nila ng katarungan yung story ni Shaider. If they make it right, baka bumalik tiwala namin sa mga local shows, kahit pa remake o orig ang story. Kami pa magsasabi na “don’t watch foreign shows!”

Please naman ang yabang niyo para sabihin yan, hindi pa nga kayo sure kung kakagatin ng masa ito eh, tapos susundan pa ninyo. Asar talaga! 
Hanggang ngayon, naiinis pa rin ako sa idea na may love story ang Shaider! Kakabanas talaga! Ganun ba mga artista ngayon, walang talent kapag walang love story or ka-love team. Bakit naman sa other countries, naipapakita nila ang totoo nilang talent even if they don’t have a love team. Minsan gusto ko rin sisihin si Juan Dela Cruz eh, dahil hindi na siya nagsawa sa paulit-ulit na love story sa TV, Radio at Movies. ok lng ang pilot ng zaido…ok ang effects….ang problema lang ang setting at ung costumes…ung plot, ok lng, may luv story kaya lng mga 10-15% lang xa…. at OMG! ang BILIS NG PACING… “Pagkalipas ng isang taon” tapos after mga 10-15 mins…merong “Pagkalipas uli ng isang taon”…..natawa ako parang comedy! ung FX xa spaceship parang hapon nga, kaya nga lang, sabi ko ulit, ung setting at props need improvements….as in big time! ung physics (this means ung galaw ng mga characters), masyadong mahina kung i compare xa japanese sentai (redundant bah? kc pag sentai japanese na un eh)…. bket d nlang nila i hire muli ung nagtrain kay richard xa sugo… magaling un na trainor…. ang problema lng c rishard (no offecnse)… sobra xa pacute….kaya kung xa acting lang, mas gusto q c dennis….at ang daming nagcomment tungkol kay marky cielo na d dapat ilagay xa zaido kc dancer xa, OMG, common sense naman! mas madali ngang turuan ang mga dancers especially xa fighting scenes kc nakakagalaw ng maayos ung kanilang katawan…. noh masabi mo kay vhong? agree ako na sana maglagay ng double kapag naka mask na c zaido….. kahit medyo tagilid xa costumes, at least xa fighting scenes, may laban….katulad xa exodus, maganda ung moves ng nka-mask na c bong (feel q d xa un)…..c philip ko ung fighting director…..kaya lang abs eh….xa ung ng direct ng mga fighting stunts xa rounin…. All in all, masasabi q xa zaido…not half bad, not half good… effects: OK……action: sabit… props:poor…this really needs some modification….costumes: cheap puro medyo ma tolerate! this one i really love: Paolo as IDA….. kuhang kuha!! magaling xa!!!! C IDA parang naging sexy at vicious villain!!!
xa lastikman naman, ok ung fighting stunts, ang problema effects, esp nung inihagis-hagis ni vong ung villain xa tulay…this lacks realism… and certainly lacks impact…. at sa tubig, ewwwww!!! ung home planet ni lastikman, parang coruscant xa star wars…. kaya lang pag inilagay xa sa set, naging magulo…ang gulo2x!!! nahihilo ako!!!!! ung physics rin ng FX, un, parang poor…kc pagtinging moh, parang nag-aabrupt ang paggalaw ng characters…. kung xa computer toh, ung parang 3D movement ng background oh d kaya ang pixel ng “coruscant” masyadong mataas compare moh xa pixel ng camera/shot kaya ung angle movement ng camera o ung movement ng shot, medyo nadedelay xa movement ng FX….this needs improvement too…
Xa lastikman, at zaido….masasabi q…malayo pah…dpt hindi cla masyadong i-compare xa mga foreign this-kind-of-series…. pero xa zaido, i will accept kc nagmula toh xa japanese sentai….i was a fan of sentai series during my elementary days….especially ang jet man-thingy( nakalimutan koh nah ang title, masyadong matagal nah yun)… at ska cnong nagsabi ang japanese sentai walang love story? meron yan…kaso minimal nga lang… mostly, action, tapos mga fighting choreography…bladdy blah blah… and agree ako sana na walang heavy emotions….(ie sampalan, sabunutan)…. ok lng iyakan pro not OA…..

i’ll just have to point out again that zaido is NOT a remake…… it’s a sequel…… so, parang nagbigay ng secure move ung TOEI, para at least kung anu mhan mangyari xa zaido, d madudungisan ang shaider…. at ska masyado kayang mapintas xa foreign-turned filipino shows….i know most foriegn from another foreign remake as bad, no, maybe worse than this….especially japanese turned american sentai…. yuK!!!! at ska marami ng japanese sentai original makers ang na dissapoint xa mga remakes from other countries….. kaya un cguro naisip nila na hindi cla pumayag na remake ang shaider….
ang problema lang kc xa shows natin d2, masyado ng obsolete….. overused ang mga repeated scenes…grave, overused nah, repeated pah…..

zaido will never become a metal hero. the true hardcore fans of the series not only here but also aborad have already laid the verdict on this series.
sa amin, ito ay malinawag na paglapastangan kay shaider. sequel mo bang matatawag ito? eh hindi kayang kilalanin ang ibang pulis pangkalakawakan na nauna kay shaider. kung ito ay isang metal hero, dapat kinilala niya un. hindi lng c SHAIDER ang pulis pangkalawakan, nanjan cna Gavan at Sharivan n kung wala ang series nila ay wala taung makikilalang Shaider in the first place.

Super Sentai means Super Task Force meaning groups of fighters/warriors that fight as a TEAM. kasama sa Super Sentai na naipalabas d2 ay ang Bioman, Star Ranger (na ang original name ay GoRangers which btw is the very 1st task force.), Maskman, Jetman, at Fiveman. hope that answers your question and i hope na mulat na kau sa katotohanan.

Oh, Power Rangers is the American adaptation of Super Sentai. But the PR shows made by Saban are better than Disney’s (yep, Power Rangers was now owned by Disney since it bought Saban in 2002).

For those who don’t know BoukenSilver is from the Sentai show GoGo Sentai Boukenger (its Power Rangers counterpart is Power Rangers Operation Overdrive).

i just can’t believe that pinoys would tolerate such acts of GMA.. the same goes for ABS – nag franchise nga ng PBB pero scripted naman sya in the sense na lahat ng task na pinagagawa ni kuya para paawain ang mga housemates at ang sambayanang pilipino.
Mabuti pa na mag stick nalang sa mga original na teleserye kahit na baduy ang storyline at corny ang mga lines pati mga damit (paging katrina halili sa marimar – sa stylist at sa wardrobe in charge – pinagmumukha nyong matrona sa mga kasuotan si katrina.. buti pa si marian, mas magaganda ang kasuotan.. lalong lumalabas ang kagandahan)
BTW, corny din mga linya ng marimar.. maganda sanang panoorin pero yung mga linya parang gawa ng high school student.. walang emotions at walang katuturan.. basta may masabi lang.. walang sense in other words.. unlike maging sino ka man na kahit konti lang ang linya pero may sense..

I haven’t really watched the series not until i had the time to spent my christmas with my inlaws. it was when my nephew asked my wife to open a dvd to watch, i asked him “Arent you supposed to watch Zaido?” he replied with bold words “AYAW KO, PANGET!” lol. This really makes me curious to watch it the other night so, i did. One of the few things that comes to my mind aside from the crappy soap stories delivered from the series is their visual effects awareness. The technology they tried to rip-off are special effects that was clearly from the 70’s lol, they already wanted to rip-off or made spoof on one of their most famous shows, why don’t they add(rip-off) the most latest technology they offer(since, it is publicly said that they have the budjet for these type of series.)? I’ve watched Garo here’s the

And speaking of costumes, why don’t they really hire talented individuals who are really good and exceptional in that field. kaya naman nilang maghire ng mga puti to create costumes(like they did with Captain Barbel di ba?), why not hire one of those japanese costume creators which i think are much cheaper than Miles Teves, lol. The tv show “HEROES” stand out without costumes… lol.

It’s true that Sentai is better than PR, but that doesn’t mean that all of Sentai are perfect; some of them sucked. No offense but Boukenger is a great Sentai show when it comes to honoring the past but it sucks when it comes being a Sentai show.
PROO is more enjoyable and more interesting comapared to Boukenger IMO.

BoukeNSilveR: Subukan mong panoorin ang ,Power Rangers Time Force. That’s the first time that a PR show is SO DARK, SO MATURE, AND STUCK DAMN CLOSELY TO ITS SENTAI COUNTERPART (yes, it’s parallel to Timeranger). And more enjoyable, too. My all-time favorite Power Rangers show.

Alvin:ah yes Timeforce and lost galaxy were my fav PR series glad u reminded me… lost galaxy stretched out many things that gingaman did do and yes dark, matured and also perfect PR series was timeforce it was as good as timeranger but too bad timeranger had a kinda sad ending.. did PRTF had a sad ending i havent seen the ending ever since the cable got changed the channel which showed PR:TF was removed into the cable channels

At siyanga pala, siya rin ang English VA ni Lelouch Lamperouge sa English dub ng Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Ironic, isn’t it? Look at Lelouch’s Zero costume, pwede siyang maging Black Ranger, di ba? I bet Johnny must be all smiles after learning he can put on an over dramatic and brightly colored crime fighting outfit again.
If GARO will be adapted into American audiences, maybe Southworth will be a suit actor for either GARO or ZERO. Oh, one of action directors of GARO is Makoto Yokohama, one of the action directors of Power Rangers shows from MMPR to Ninja Storm.
SABAN POWER RANGERS IS BETTER THAN DISNEY POWER RANGERS because teh Saban PR shows are as good as Sentai.

rockman: Hindi naman sa ganon. Ang problema kasi sa Disney e hindi nila sineseryoso ung kanilang Power Rangers franchise hindi tulad ng Saban. Disney PR is 80% Sentai and 20% their own. And that’s one of the reason kung bakit 32 episodes ang nagagawa nila.
Comparing Boukenger to PROO, I want to say Boukenger. But PROO is more enjoyable and more interesting than its Sentai counterpart. Kasi most of the Precious in Bouken are not connected in the story, while PROO has its own plot.
And about Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, it will be released on Oct. 2008

And does anybody see the pilot of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight? napapangitan ang ilan because of the henshin, pero the henshin sequence is also a reference to the henshin sequence in the live-action Guyver movies, also made by Steve Wang. Pero it’s just a promotional pilot in order to pitch the networks.
Actually, magiging maganda siya, ayon sa pagkakakita ko, when its release date is on Oct. 2008. And according to my fellow tokufriends at Henshin Justice Forums, magkakaroon na ng original bikes sina Dragon Knight at Wing Knight and they will be featured in episode 4. And speaking of HJU’s head moderator Keith Justice, nakapunta siya mismo sa set ng KRDK sa Los Angeles and he love it; he even exclaimed “GOOD LORD… WOW, ASTIG!” Imbitado siya sa bahay mismo ni Steve Wang! And he’s having a good time there. Imbitado rin siya sa wrap up party nito, then he met up one of KRDK’s action directors who did some work w/ GARO and Shibuya 15, he also met w/ the cast and crew like Matt Mullins (ung gaganap bilang si Len/Wing Knight), Stephen Lunsford (ung gaganap bilang si Kit Taylor/Dragon Knight); at dun niya nakita ang 1st four episodes and the REAL trailer at namangha siya talaga ng todo! What a lucky guy he is. Sana nandun ako. Sana kayo din, hehe!
